I'm changing the batteries on all the machines in my house. I cant find the battery holder on my brothers Theatre of Magic. Can anybody helpt? Thanks,

That's what I thought. See attached pics. First is TZ without batteries. Next is same board in Theatre. Third is a 2 wire harness / attached to "BAT CON." on the Theatre board and other end of harness is loose. It's been a few years since this machine was running but I don't remember having to go through the menus to set features every time I used to play it. Can't see where a battery holder has been removed. Also TZ board does not have the "BAT CON." connector. Does this mean someone pulled the battery holder? Duck Duck GEESE!!!

Grab a meter and measure the two loose ends and see if you get 4.5 volts DC, if so you have batteries hiding somewhere else, if not, to batteries.
Then if it doesn't lose settings when turned on, check under the battery holder for battery damage, it may be enough gunk to retain settings.
