I put a post out a month ago about my BF. Mine has very strange stuff also:

1) right slingshot is different then all others, it has batman arm on it

2) upper plastic around the right vuk is white/gray in color and has a checkerboard design on it. only place I ever seen one is on the flyer.

3) target back in the middle has a white plastic not purple. also only seen on flyer.

4)in front of the vuk there is a red insert that says Mr E, mine is a white insert that says Mr E. also white on flyer.

I have done tons of looking around for anything like what I have and can't come up with nothing. the plastics are not replacements or hand made for sure. I too have a translite with no white backing . I have looked on the serial database and mine would be the second lowest number on there. someone has got to have some idea of what gives.

I know this thread is old but I thought I would post anyway. I posted pictures above about some strange stuff on my BF that lead me to believe that it may be a prototype or early production. Today I just happen to discover a few other things.... when I got the game the right shooter lane cover was broken. I bought a used one from a fellow pinsider, threw the old one in the cabinet and forgot about it. Happen to look at it today and the original one is different. Then, while looking at pictures of other games I realized that the left flipper cover is different from the production one. Check the picture out and maybe somebody can give me some insight
