Valid question of course, wasn't thinking of it from an OP standpoint. It seems that Stern has been replacing these when they go bad, but obviously they won't be guaranteed forever.
Their were very dark times for pinballs a few years back when csi and 24; stern survived and they're customer service is always second to none. BDK was coded by LYMAN but times were way different back then, and that was noted on here about bdk. Gomez himself said updates every two weeks and know LYMAN will make it great. LYMAN is the best coder their is and I know that for a fact just look at his last two games TWD and METALLICA. GOT and Ghostbusters were done by another great coder in Dwight but the difference is when you get LYMAN in code it constantly evolves but takes a little while to get done, but it will be awesome and grow along the way and end up being amazing. Dwights games are great out of the gates but never evolve and what you get is what you get. For example ghostbusters has been the same for the most part since it was released same as GOT.
My money is on LYMAN and batman 66

Man, seems laid out pretty clean, very easy to get to everything...really like how the speaker panel hinged down, without touching the glass!!!
I'll take some other pics if anyone interested in certain areas tomorrow ( have to leave it now)....got a few more great games in!!!!

Can you take a pic of CN5 on the node 8C board (thats the node light board that has most of the crane inserts on it).
CN5 pin 3 orange/red is the playfield batsignal control line on the SLE machines. I'm curious if that wire is there on the LE/Prem machines. If its there it should end with a 2 pin female connector.

Will do....I noticed a 2 pin molex connector on a cable up top , probably intended for the topper. I know the LE can handle the SLE topper ( supposed to have one coming instead of my LE topper)....not sure about the premium.

Great photos MK, the whole Spike 2 looks extremely clean and low maintenance, fingers crossed we don't see the same issues that Spide 1 saw.
I'll get some close ups tomorrow too....I was amazed at how clean and seemingly well laid out it was...doubt there will be any repair of the boards...looks amazingly easily to swap out defective units.
Anxious to update code for this bad boy tomorrow!!!

I Just played a few games on an LE at Logan Arcade. Early code but still a fun game to play. Stern NAILED the theme perfectly. the LCD is very well integrated into the theme and game play. I guess I'm old school, I go to an arcade and drop quarters. I don't care what a new Stern costs I just enjoy playing them.

It's a shame that this has been forgotten with this title. No one in this thread is disagreeing NIB pricing sucks balls & no one is disagreeing that this is an improved re-theme but the later for me was one of the reason I brought, will I be buying anymore Sterns NIB if pricing continues to rise? Nope but that's another discussion for another thread, this is batman and everyone on this forum should enjoy this game one way or another, regardless of price it's pinball!

Yup. Those guys are first class. All should be resolved in next few weeks. I wiil provide an update when complete.
The Super Duper LE was just released with finished code! Mine got delivered today and the game plays as smooth as ice.
Actually, my daughter and I will just stick with this one until I get a chance to play BM66, and whatever bugs it has get worked out. Congrats to those who bought 66 and are happy with it, and those that didn't and are happy about that.
Looks great!!!....still waiting on my topper too!!! Realized yours is an SLE...may have to wait longer on the LE ones...
Side note- my distributor said he was told they couldn't upgrade my topper from LE to SLE....the bat signal would be offered as an option at a later date....guess they only made 80 of those bad boys!!!

Nope
Dissapointed, but not entirely surprised, that there wasnt code drop today.
They said tuesday in the live stream but I dont think they specified which tuesday.
The next release will probably be the same code they were using in the live stream which seemed to have some bugs anyways so maybe they needed more time to handle them.

Yep im same way on any new game i get... bought a restored funhouse and i csnt stop playing it now.. such a great pin and theme.

I can see a lot of potential. Love the theme. The family had a great time taking it for a test run.
