Our Batman 66 has a broken weld on the turntable assembly, where the platter is attached to the shaft. The game has a little under 5000 plays on it. When we first got it brand new it had the exact same problem straight out of the box. That time Stern replaced the assembly. Anybody else have this problem? Seems odd that it would happen twice on the same game.

I emailed my distributor and he's going to try to take care of it. Otherwise I'll probably get it welded. I hope it doesn't come to that because I'm sure I'll have to pull a ton of parts off of it first.

Stern sent me this shaft / base plate assembly. I was expecting it to take many hours and beers to swap out the broken one. Nope, it's about a 15 minute job. Thanks Trent @ Tilt Amusements & Stern for taking care of this even though the game was well out of warranty.

Yeah, it looks a lot better. It's welded all the way around on the new one. The broken one was just welded in three spots.
