Joining the club Sunday, bought a used premium,I am an original xmle owner so I can wait for code and I believe Lyman will do it right
I have a few question about gameplay
1,I thought I herd Gomez say the the batmobile spinner had some good ball bearings thus has better spinning than the cube on avengers but when I see bm66 gameplay the car never spins as fast as avengers mabey that is a good thing with the batmobile flying off on some games
2,I always liked the way Tdk pinball would shoot the ball back around the left orbit when you completed gadget,is that still true on bm66
Thanks
I just joined the club, used premium and the game has been play,I am the third owner and I don't have any ramp flings spinner or magnet ware or excessive dimpling,I am doing some mods and will post pictures latter this week but so far am loving it,needs code but that will come,I don't regret my purchase one bit and will hold tight for the Lyman to work his magic
I don't believe Stern will let there anniversary game fail because of Code.
.68 is a nice improvement and shows how good the game could be in time,3.8 gb takes a bit of time compared to the last game I updated gble around 1 Gb but all went well and now I can see some hope
I thought I would try these side rails,I am sure terry has some left and for the price I think they looks great ,I am quessing these are half the price of the stern rails for a premium and I can change the color in a snap, not sure about the stickers in the cab and may change to blades when I find some I like,
Thoughts?
Quoted from Pinballpal:+1
It is the same set up acdc uses. Maybe some acdc owners can chime in on this issue.
I just used some dead bounce
I have tried everything with the update and no luck, same stick I used last time and it does not see the stick, unzipped and loaded all files onto stick, tried to use "send to" also drag and drop with no luck, the stick flashes when I turn game on like it should but then nothing and the game starts like normal,I guess I will buy a new stick,
What brand and size should I buy?
I used a different computer and all is well,I loaded the stick the same way as I did on the first computer so who know, just enjoying the new code.
I would like to see bat turn go by spins not hits, just think it would be more fun to get rewarded for a solid hit that spins a lot
Just a thought
Quoted from docquest:Poor sales was also likely due to the higher price tag. Everyone pretty much agrees the Batman66 premium is really a pro features wise with a premium/LE pricetag.</
How can bm66 be a pro when it has the same playfield and features except for a bat signal and a few toy figures,so it is about a topper and trim for 2000.00 to 7000.00,
All the pros I have ever have had less playfield features or code
I passed on SW and AS because of this, bought a Di and couldn't be happier and when I bend down to turn the game on the switch is still where it has always been, shame on you stern,I have put up with there shenanigans long enough even the customer support has taken a dive in recent years ,jjp just gave woz an code update after 4 years and there customer support is the tops imho and pricing is similar except for stern pro.
After what we long timers have been through with stern and there shenanigans with really no consequences would any of we really be surprised if they continued this behavior
Quoted from J85M:Could have sworn my flake is gold, I'm going to have to check now.
Geo has a premium
I used hot glue gun on my node boards, between the affected areas and really works great and was easy to apply,I tryed the spacer and zips and this works better imho
Quoted from Yelobird:I ran the voltage on it and it is Microscopic. Should be more than safe. Adding 20 filament bulbs would be a different story. lol
Are you, going to offer this enhancement to your pile as an option in the future?
Quoted from thundergod76:Thanks to an awesome Pinsider I finally have some Batgirl prominently displayed!!
I don't understand,I see this game is a pre so what is up with the translight
Quoted from rotordave:I should have said “play” ... apologies.
So many people quick to judge things on Pinside hearsay ... I see it all the time. Most haven’t even played it.
Sorry that you don’t enjoy the game. It’s a chaotic game, and while it’s a big hit here I can understand not everyone likes that style of play. As long as they’ve played it and formed a genuine opinion, that’s all good.
rd
I would ditch my bm66 before my Rz so I quess to each there own.
Quoted from J85M:It’s a game changer having that left ramp rigid the speed of the ramp goes up x10!
[quoted image]
Does the new catwoman editions have that improved ramp?
The ramp in the picture is not the ramp in catwoman, the ramp In cat Edition looks the same as all the others from what I can tell ,if it is way better what is different?I do remember that a new ramp was being developed by a pinsider years ago.Is that the one pictures,caN we get a better ramp,I have no trouble with mine ramp and it is very fast but what ever happens to a better ramp!
After looking at that picture I would like that batgirl bust ,I remember when the game first came out owners were buying it made by eaglemoss,I just looked and can’t find it anywhere, anybody have a line on one?
Quoted from Durbin:Got it home and set up yesterday. Now I already broke the batmobile turn ><[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
The learning curve is steep, you will laugh at this post some day!
I remember I did not know how to remove the glass on my first game, you will be fine.
Welcome to the club!
Quoted from thundergod76:Thanks very much. If u check out my other vids you'll see I added Penguin quacks to the crane hits.
Can someone post some code with these changes, like many other have done with other games!
Thanks
Quoted from Rob_G:I had absolutely zero problems with the left ramp on my later production BM66. First run games did have problems, but that was addressed with a larger clear plastic over the ramp. Sure it could have been designed better, but it does work.
Rob
I have an orginal with the ramp cover and it screams around and it’s one of my favorite ramps to shoot.
