Quoted from docquest:go through the game you should double check that the turntable is level with the rest of the playfield in all of its positions. Thats happened to a few if us. If its not, you could get ball hang ups on slow moving balls when enterimg the lock. Will also lead to premature wear if not flat.
how do i fix this???
I heard about 'Holy Reverse Polarity' where it reverses the flippers. That would be cool, tho Houdini had this feature
ok here are my thoughts (while i take the train to chicago). I have my BM66 and Star Wars at my bar. People come in and take selfies of BM66 all the time. The artwork is so unique and the game play is fun for $10 or so. Too me worth the extra $2000. I love the toys you can add.
So Star Wars Pinball #5(?) is fast and is everything a pinball fan loves, loops and ramps, lots of modes. Artwork is everywhere and nothing special. Very tuff and is more of a home collectors game.
Im glad I bought BM66 and any extra code that comes out is gravy for me. Back in the day a pinball came out that was what you got.
Also back in my day we had NINE planets.
At Stern O Rama I was talking to Gary Stern, Gomez and a sales manager I indicated I had a few Stern games at a bar in Florida. When BM66 was mentioned all three got excited and immediately jabbered about code. I played dumb and indicated it was my favorite machine and didnt understand the code difference. All three said 'If you love it now wait TWO Weeks, and this new code is going to blow you away'.
Quoted from cooked71:BTW, what happened with Franchi's seminar?
Franchi seminar was interesting. Stern hired him to design all the bat gadgets for the LE plaques (which may or may not be put into the code as well). Since he had already had a ton of Batman 66 art he did previously je quickly made a Super LE back glass in 1 day. They loved it, and asjed him to do a LE backglass.
Then they gave him 2 weeks(Stern loves 2 weeks) to create the 3 cabinets and the 3rd backglass and promo flyers etc. Somebody else laid out the playfield using his artwork.
One of his side stories stated That Commissioner Gordon (Neil Hamilton) estate never agrees to the use of his image on anything! How Stern was able to get the licenses tito use him baffled Franchi and thought this machine will go down in History.
Quoted from Bamatami:I would rather be playing a 0.75 BM66 LE than sitting around, typing on my computer all day long, complaining about code not being quick enough, being lied to, etc. I didn't realize that there were so many "children" playing pinball these days. I have better things to do, than to complain about something I can do nothing about at this point, like play pinball
Sooo.. your complaining about the complainers.
I finally got around to downloading the new code. there's two files which one do I install .0 or .01 or both
Quoted from PinMonk:They need to make a bat-turn easter egg hidden version where Gomez pops up and says one thing, then when you hit the spinner, he turns around and says the opposite thing.
Two weeks
Quoted from PinMonk:Two face, actually. Too bad he wasn't in the original series...
Actually I think Gomez is a very nice guy, and created some of the best video games of my childhood.
Well first problem ive had with BM66. My turntable wont turn the last turn (no multiball). called stern. They said to look for a bad weld, which I will do tomorrow. Game still plays...just no multiball.
anyone had this problem.
Quoted from Bearcat:Has anyone had this happen? Turntable stopped working, received this error:
I got that problem currently. I called tech support and he wants me to look for loose welds at a point. Need to get better light.
Turntable Fixed!!!!
This was a tough one. Turntable initially wouldn't rotate to 3rd position. Then got stuck completely. Then would go to 2nd position but not to 1st position. 2 screws were missing where tge bushing notch is, so it would block it.
Updated Code, and jailed several minor villians.
Today was a good day.
