Quoted from Manimal:

Figured it out. 1st bolt was off the bottom of the standoff post holding up the Cat statue. How did I find it you ask? Playing game #2 and another bolt comes whizzing down the playfield! I looked up and the cat had fallen and he couldn't get up.......looks like whomever was to tighten those bolts was outside smoking some Bat Blunts.......

"Righty Tighty.....Lefty Loosey"

New sign at Stern's lunch room next to the other safety stuff....

Quoted from Cyrus:

I'm getting way too many air balls with the left ramp. With a good hit the ball flies off the ramp on the curve about 50% of the time. Stern looks to have anticipated this with a plastic shield over part of the ramp, but it's not deterring these derailments. I suspect soon someone will have a plastic guard out for sale....

Yes I am getting this too but will increase angle and lower flipper power....

I would buy a new ramp cover that fully extends if it is made....

Quoted from Cserold:

Yep, quality game guys. We really hit a home run with this investment. Congrats to all.

Damn man! That's worse than my TWDLE playfield holes from the moving ramp design which is worse than my NGG...LOL

Quoted from trunchbull:

What'd they make that magnet out of, butter?

Or Brinell 750 hardeness rated balls?

Quoted from pinmister:

You can see by the picture in a previous post that Stern used a 7 layer playfield. They may need to look at choosing a denser playfield for future production runs to help minimize dimpling. A 10-11 layer with tropical wood or hardwood will be more dense than their current choice. As for the clear coating they have been trying to figure this out for over a year now. They stated the issues did not occur during testing, but started to appear much later. So if the clear coat is not fully tested and approved why use customers as beta testers? They need to have an expert involved that knows clear coat formulas and reactions to different environments. Stern is trying to bring it in house and streamline production without doing the proper testing. There is a learning curve for everything but after Ghostbusters and other machine qc issues this should have been resolved by now.

Yes, They should hire Ron Kruzman for clearcoating. His work is unmatched.
