Maybe you could check the voltage on the socket while it's on and replace the existing with a new socket and an easier to source bulb?

Out of the box it plays ok, but that damn wire for the Cat Light above the left ramp. It was completely in the way and wouldn't allow a ball to pass through the orbit and I've been messing with it trying to get it to stay in place. I also need to increase the angle a bit as its a little shallow.

It looks like the speaker lights are no longer available, which is a real bummer. FWIW, I'm also looking into legs & rails, but then I'll need to send it all out to be powder coated.

Not sure the real knocker kit adds a lot and I still haven’t installed the siren dome covers because it seems out of place to have two when the Batmobile only has one but the rest are primo.
I sold my speaker light kit because I didn’t like the look as much as I thought and went with a couple of docquests logo magnets instead. I don’t think they distract from the TV effect as much.[quoted image]
Good points on the knocker and siren dome covers. I've pulled the knocker from my list and will probably do the same with the dome covers.
I'm on the fence about what to do with the speaker lights and may go with a more subtle route as there is a lot going on already.

I moved the delay to 0 and it's still a bit off. Any other suggestions aside from tape?

Between those two, I got the crane to stop a little off center for both the clockwise and anti-clockwise rotations. Without physically modifying the adjustment tab, that was the best I was going to get. I accepted that a little tiny bit off center for both directions was better than dead on in one direction and noticeably off in the other.
Mine is just like @wotto, dead center on the way out and significantly off on the way back. What kind of "fiddling" did you do to get your results?

It's not too bad, but threading the wire down is a pain. I used a hemostat to help it along.

If you're really concerned, you can download an image of the SD card and do a direct dump instead of upgrading from the machine.

I used a hemostat to push the wire through on mine. On another, I pushed the harness wire up from underneath and was able to connect the extension cable that came with the kit.

It is specifically recommend by Stern to address electrical noise on the 48v power source.
Notice: When using the Genuine Authorized Stern Shaker Motor Kit #502-5027-01 on Spike 1 and Spike 2 system games, it is required that the Cabinet Node Capacitor Kit be installed. This additional capacitor prevents mysterious SLAM TILT switch activations from occurring.

This is something a lot of people can't wrap their heads around on any game. The amount of return does depends on what you put into it. Figures are probably close to the 10% mark, but shakers, blades and ColorDMD are not a near-total loss.

I usually take the playfield out, but you don't have to. Personally, I prefer the wet method and use RapidTac. Take your time and make sure to smooth everything out.
