Really? Damn! faster than even Metallica LE (which took 48 hours after the announcement...but they at least showed the full game and a little game play with the release announcement).

So, who is getting the shark repelant gadget on their LE? That would be an awesome one!

I think the gadget LE's are mostly us and the episode LE's are mostly international?

Hard to say which is better. Both are such great ideas for how to number/list/name LE machines. Kudos to stern for the idea.

The batmobile would be the best. I didn't think about that one. Surley the utility belt isn't one of the gadgets though? It carried the gadgets.

Alas, that's what happens when I fall behind in a thread.

This has been an issue for a long time. A buddy of mine had a blue avengers LE and at one point we had a light and screw both sitting on the left flipper. Parts not being inserted right at the factory has pleagued NIB Sterns since at least 2013.

I'm guessing the $11,500 firm price is what's stopping those two from getting together.

That wasn't what people were saying on initial release though. People were saying the shot layout on TWD was awful and clunky and not satisfying and in the pops too often and no code could save it...now everyone says the shot layout is awesome for TWD.

I see in another thread the bat shark repelant went out of the US. Has the real batmobile turned up yet?

Played some BM66 yesterday. Loved it. Very solid game that will only improve with more code. Fantastic LCD integration.

I agree. His dedication to getting SM done on his own time is really what built his reputation. Tron, Metallica and TWD added to his legacy.

He will eventually knock BM66 out of the park and it will be a masterpiece before it's all said and done. The skeleton for amazing code is already there.

We did have some issues out the box. Check out this wire that was wrapped about the motor of the turn table. The wire was rubbed bare, we are lucky it didn’t fry the board... I’m not even sure how the wire got tied up around the motor, must have been assembled that way. Fixed now though.

She’ll have to wait. I can’t seem to get the code update through. I pulled the data off the stern website through a mac and not a pc, perhaps that is my problem. Unlike Aerosmith, which read it immediately when it was the usb was installed on the machine, this game is not recognizing the usb is even in there.

I have my first ever magnetized ball. Is this common on this machine? Do I need to replace the balls?

I think I put the high gloss ninja balls in...not sure, might have been the silver jets.

Where can I buy a topper with the bat signal? Also, where is the best place to buy mirror blades? (The mirror blades are a bit different on this game than earlier Sterns right?). Thanks!

Hey gang - I’m habing a somewhat odd problem and I thought I’d run it past the group.

When I answer the phone the ball kind of sticks on the magnet. It is not released until a ball search is done or I give the game a gentle push (not a hard push mind you, just a soft nudge).

I had silver jets in the game, so I took those out and replaced them with standard new balls just in case they were slightly magnetized...this did not solve or reduce the issue at all.

Any ideas? Anyone else expierence this?

It does have a few dimples. It’s not perfectly smooth. I’ll look at where the ball is sitting because the dimples are not centered.
