Normally I would agree, but a little positive discussion about the next Kapow (which is kind of related to BM66) is a lot better than all the negative chat about code, which is really the only discussion point at the moment.

Having said that, did you manage to get to that convenstion @docquest? Did they have the Batmobile, Batboat, Batcopter and Bat Cycle all there? photos of those would be pretty cool!

Did this turn out ok? Amazon listing makes it sound like it's only a hardback book.

Hade a good time at the Terrificon today. Lots of cool bat-stuff on display. Got to meet Burt Ward again and talk about his Batman66 SLE. He loves his game but has a problem with the crane and is wating for the service guy to fix it.

They had the batboat, batcyle sidecar, batmobile and batcopter. The batcopter and the batcycle side car were the original ones from the show the others were replicas.

They also had a few catwoman costumes from the 66 movie on display, along with Lee Meriweather herself.

I met a guy there that made a custpm batcomputer and batsignal on display. After talking a bit it turns out he's a pin head that has restored a few games over the years.

He tells me about his nearly HUO haunted house he got for $250. Seems every pinhead I meet has a story like that except me. LOL.

Since the show was at a casino I had to look for the Batman66 Kapow slot machine. I saw this machine in my travels. The next Stern/Kapow game?

After a lot of wandering and asking I finally found it. After I took a pic of it I got yelled at. Apparently photos on the casino floor are a big no no.

It was a lot of fun to play. I put $20 in played for abput 20 minutes and walked away with $32.90. I was happy about that. Great comic show for those in the new england area. Will probably go next year too.

Stay in it long enough and you'll have one of those stories for your very own. My best was a nonfunctional Spiderman Red for $1000 a location called me to unload. Turns out its only problem was a blown transistor. An hour after it was home, it was working fully. Looked factory fresh. Great deal.

Listened to your interview with "the podcaster that shall not be named". It was a nice listen on my way tot he comic show this morning. Nice to hear someone stick up for Batman66 for a change since the game usually gets a bad rap.

I loved it enough to make a custom web plastic for the Doc Ock VUK. Eventually traded the machine, but I would not be opposed to having another one in the future. Love the game.

Glad you like the pics. I wasn't sure if some would think I was cluttering up the thread with non pinball pics but I thought at least a few of you would like to see them.

This show claimed it would be the first show with the batcopter, batmobile, batcycle and batboat all together at once. However the batcyle was not there (just Robins sidecar) so I guess I'll have to look forward to a future show where they are all together.

I talked to the batcopter owner/pilot and he went into great detail about it's history and how he acquired it. I was amazed to hear he actually flies it to/from the shows he has it at. The reason it doesn't have the bat emblem on the front is that it makes it hard to see below when landing and taking off. He said the copter only had that painted on for filming and it was removed later. Also the big bat wings on the side made it less stable aerodynamically so for safety reasons they were removed as well. If he stops flying it and just uses it as a show piece someday he'll probably put that stuff back on.

I added the Mezel house mod to my machine, but first it got brushed.

Now we really need a new code, because there is no more mod I can add to my sle.

In all honesty I have been amazed by a lot of Pinsiders that have personally helped me out with things I have needed stateside, stuff off eBay where the seller wouldn't ship outside the US, stuff only sold in the US, times like this where docquest has been able to attend something pretty unique and exclusive, the good will and generosity of Pinsiders and Americans in general amazes me

Pinside has been a wealth of pinball information for me on technical repair help, buying/selling info, new or old game info, show info, and just a great tool to connect with other pinheads.

Sometimes people get carried away or overly passionate about their opinions but overall I still find pinside a very useful resource. I try to ignore the bad stuff and promote the good stuff. So anytime I have the opportunity to help others out I try and make the effort to pay it forward.

Quick question bat friends....on the bottom of my LE playfield, on the left, directly above the drain near "Same Bat Time", I have a 1" metal post. There is also one on the right side, to the right of "Same Bat Channel" that is a clear plastic post with no rubber ring. Two questions...is the metal post on the left supposed to have a plastic and the one on the right, a rubber ring? I hope I'm making sense. Can post pics if needed. Thanks!
