Is your fan working?
Quoted from MK6PIN:Anybody else getting these random emails regarding BM code? It's almost like a group chat, but I keep getting them....shit...I've asked to be removed twice....
How did you get on the list?
Quoted from labnip:constant play by folks (had a line on it all day/night, every day)
Don't know about your sound issue, but that about sizes up the appeal of this game.
Haters gonna hate anyway...
Quoted from labnip:discovered a sound problem on SLE (maybe all?).
had the SLE at TPF this last weekend.
the show is so loud that I turned the sound all-the-way up.
after a few hours of constant play by folks (had a line on it all day/night, every day), the sound would go 100% out.
I just think its awesome you took a SLE to a show
How did all your protection and bullet proofing hold up over the course of the weekend? Did you log how many plays BM got before and after the show?
In 0.70, if trying to start a game and a ball is missing, Pinball ball search does not trigger the Riddler scoop switch.
Also bought some green and purple 5v led boards from cointaker to add some color to Riddler scoop and Penguin crane VUK. I wired them to nearby GI bulb so they are on all the time. Might re-wire the Penguin one to go off when super jackpot is lit instead. Not a bad mod for $0.89 a piece.
Also bought a few red led boards to replace the white ones in the antennae stalks on the topper. Not sure why Stern put white leds in there instead of red ones. Putting red ones in there makes the plastic much more red instead of the pinkish/orange they were with the white boards. Hard to get a good pic to show the visual difference. Left antennae pic is still the white board and right antenna pic has the red board in it.
I put in a translucent orange pop bumper body in the atomic pile to replace the solid white one that was there. Gives a much brighter flash effect this way. I'm still using the 2 led flasher that in there originally. Since the body is trasparent I used some double sided foam tape to hold the flasher on the bottom of the pop body for a neater look.
I know it was mentioned earlier in this thread or one of the others.... what did you guys end up doing to fix the joker switch getting stuck?
Mine had been fine never an issue until tonight. It got jammed multiple times during a long play session. Total buzzkill to a good game when you can't engage the joker at all.
Quoted from docquest:Put in a bunch of mods I picked up at TPF last week. Mezelmods backboard building and Gotham city sign.
Oh wow! Docquest to be honest....I saw all the pics that you posted about 10 times each of them! Amazing!, all of them are very very nice, the colors, the toys, the start button, the lights, the Batphone and the Shakespeare simply incredible Docquest. I would like to add to mine all the toys like you did.
Two thumbs up, and thank you for sharing all the upgrades!
Regards
Quoted from BrewinBombers:sethman I put a small piece of sticky-back neoprene back there. PM me if you need some more info.
Thank you BrewinBombers. I'll give that a shot today. I assume behind the upper left corner which is where it pinches. Or behind the whole target?

I have a new bracket on the way. I hope that does the trick.

Thanks for the nice comments. I wanted to show some pic of the mods so anyone thinking about trying them can see how they look in a machine.
Regarding the start button, I made that using backlit film material. for my Ash Vs Evil Dead re-theme I used backlit film material for my translite and a few other things in the game that will be lit from behind. I knew I wanted to put a bat logo on my start button so I added a few logos in the dead white space on my other artwork so I could try it out. I made logos with blue, green, yellow, and white backgrounds.

So I have a few extra's for free if anyone want to try one. Just send me a PM if interested.
To install you need to take your existing start button apart. Replace the green disk in it with the trimmed logo for a perfect fit. You'll need to put a tiny dab of glue or tape between the edge of the logo and the button cover. That will keep the orientation of the correct correct. Otherwise it might rotate over time due to vibration.

Did you call in to Stern and was that the suggested resolve? keep us posted
Put some play time on this bad boy again last night and the code is coming along very well and the game is getting better; I'm sure when Lyman is done it will be a great game
Quoted from Sethman:Did you call in to Stern and was that the suggested resolve? keep us posted
I took the bracket off, cut it at the bend, and welded it back together. I thought I could get it perfect, but my work yard isn't really set up for small welding jobs that needs precision.
The way I should've fixed it. Take the bracket off, file down on top of the bracket the side that needed raising.
The way mine sat, the left corner kept catching. If I thinned out that side of the bracket, it would've raised the target up enough to clear it and level out the stand up.
Quoted from iceman44:Batphone and wall are my favorites
If you want replace the dog chew toy style batphone and add the shakespear bust you have two options. The figures toy company sells action figure accesories including a batphone and a shakespeare bust. You can buy them by themselves or part of a kit with a while bunch of other stuff ( from bombs to batzooka's). Here is their website: http://figurestoycompany.com/classictvbatman8inchactionfiguresaccessorypack.aspx
The other option is the "To the Batcave" playset. Ive seen them sold at Toys r us or amazon. The items here are only available with the whole set, not individually. https://m.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=54368326
The figures toy company has a bigger shakespeare bust and their batphone includes the cakepan. The phone with the cakepan isnt as nice looking as the one from the other set. Its not as translucent and is less detailed. So I took the phone from the batcave set and put it with the cake pan of figures toy company set.
Here's a pic to show the size differences between the two sets. The bigger bust is the toy fogures one. The phone shown next to it is the nicer batcave set phone.

Correct. Just cat woman at this time
Quoted from Sethman:Correct. Just cat woman at this time
Thanks I just received my premium this Thursday and wasn't sure.
Just in reference to the new 0.070 update does anyone have a strange callout after you hit the batphone target mine says ( I couldt ) instead of "I'll call him sir" WTF ?

If you don't answer the phone in the allotted time Alfred explains that Batman is away at the moment.
For those with games in hand does the original tv series intro play at all on the pin, like in attract mode?
Quoted from J85M:For those with games in hand does the original tv series intro play at all on the pin, like in attract mode?
Unfortunately not the exact TV theme intro. There is attract music that can play but it is turned off by factory default.
Hmmm seems like a missed opportunity not to have the original opening somewhere in the pin, attract more seemed like a no brainer
I just heard the "Super Jackpot is Ready" call out by the narrator's voice. I agree, they got an amazing sound alike.

I agree but its not that big of a deal. All the music in this machine is awesome. You can always add it later if you really want to.

One of my fav callouts is "Super Jackpot is lit...or is it"?
Quoted from thundergod76:One of my fav callouts is "Super Jackpot is lit...or is it"?
I loved this one too; there's room for a ton of variety in the callouts in everything. There's a cool supercut of Alfred answering the batphone in dozens of different ways on YouTube.

An abridged version plays at the end of each game.....very cool, and drags you right back in to push " start" one more time...
Still tweaking- almost done. Looks fantastic contrasting between its serious chrome twins and becomes new focal point.
Modded the apron mod by relocating the signed card and designing a new lower right card for my episode.
Embrace the penguin nuance haha
Wow thats cool that you themed it a penguin centric game. You gotta add the eaglemoss "birdmobile" to it. Its based on the episode where penguin steals the batmobile and pimps it out as the birdmobile.

You gonna fit a pic of Ethel Merman as Lola Lasagne on there somewhere?
Funny how areas are so different! I asked if there was any interest in my bringing my B66le#53 to a local show here (PAGG) and not one person responded positive! And, at the TPS show, there was a line on that pin all day and night!

Man that's some CRAZY looking customized powder coating on your BM66 LE.... Who did it for you?... LOL
Very cool looking BM66 LE

For those having problems with the stand up Joker target, just adjust the two screws under the PF and straighten the target. It won't get stuck on the metal post anymore.
