I wish I had a banner for each game I owned. I would hang them on the wall across from my games. Stern never did sell these, they were promo items?

Ways round that.. not original but reprints

Finally got all my games in one place. Moving sucks.

I redid some of my covers .

They had a cool special so I did both sides for a little change in seasons. Lol

Once our house is finished I will hang the banners.

These are great! Do you mind sharing where/how you had these done for those of us interested in doing the same?

Yeah no problem....just make sure you dont do the larger size unless you want it to drape over the sides...I did that before and didnt like it as the image was not centered like I have it now.

Go grab whatever image you like and upload it...I used collage , great company....always running specials...

Post up what you decide to see.

Cant beat this price at www.collage.com. Looks like shipping is $16. I got a feeling they might see a surge of pinball themed blankets coming in soon.

I think the fleece photo blanket at 30x40 would be a nicer fit.

#16312 3 years ago

So as not to derail this thread any further from BM66 specifically, I'll just share here the cover (blanket) that I ended up putting together for our Batman '66 pin that we'll be ordering from the new November lot! If anyone wants to see what I threw together for our other 5 pins (Avengers: Infinity Quest, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Deadpool), PM me and I can share

Hmm, damn, unless I’m missing something, it looks like maybe I can’t send pictures via PM? I don’t see an option (am on mobile, if that matters) when I go to send a PM :/

Can you tell me what these are blankets and what material? Just wanted to make sure that I'm getting there correct size.

edit is it the 30x40 size blanket?

#16316 3 years ago
Quoted from thundergod76:

Are those full size?

Had them made to size 218cm x 73cm so that the banners stretched to the roof joists I wanted them too, and thinned a little so I could fit 5 in.

If you look you can see that the GB banner.. I had the Pro model replaced with the LE model which I have

#16318 3 years ago
Quoted from jfh:

They were/are dealer promo items but have been very easy to get in the last couple years through the Stern Army. You can find most for under $90. I presume they actually cost around $50.

Depends most of the dealer banners are sold on here for $175-$199 which is insane since I believe they cost dealers either nothing as they come with their consignments or about $40!

Those I’ve seen for $90 or less have all been copies printed on vinyl, I may have missed the ones your referring to though so not saying your wrong I just haven’t seen originals for less than about $150 which is still nuts!

If anyone wants banners for their games pm me.

My BM66 magnet is grabbing the ball but it doesnt know it has the ball on it and then has to look for it and eventually drop it. What causes this?

Balls are magnetised. Get a hammer and hit them to demagnetise.

Quick question. On ball drain when the bonus splash screens pop up, is there a bonus for egghead and if so, what’s the sound clip that plays with it? Working on a project that a few on here have helped with. I can’t find any reference videos on YouTube that show this.

Giving the balls a whack is an easy way for him to work out if its magnetised balls giving him the issue

Question for all you fellow BM66 owners:

In the process of installing the Mod Couple's Atomic Pile, I noticed this o-ring buried in the turntable is almost broken (again). I replaced the stock o-ring in May, when it broke in the same spot. The replacement is a Titan silicone o-ring, which I hoped would last longer, but 6-7 months later, it's almost broken too.

It's no fun to tear the turntable down to this point, so I'm gonna replace it again, but I gotta ask: Do any of you have any recommendations as to how to make this last longer, or why it's breaking here? I'd hate to do this every half a year.

Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

I'll look at mine tonight but I gotta say that seems unusual, both in having to replace it twice and that wear pattern. Is it hitting something as it turns? Wouldn't be the first time a metal rail/guide is slightly out of position.

#16334 3 years ago

Is it possible the O-ring you used is one size too small and stretched too much? I had this issue on my KISS with the slings never lasting. Titan suggested one size larger and haven't had further issues.

Quoted from thundergod76:

It is possible. I looked at the original broken o-ring I removed and it had 1 1/2" on it, so that's what I replaced it with, but it is pulled really tight, especially around the post shown with the tearing. I'll double check the manual in regards to recommended o-ring sizes. I suspect if the manual says 1 1/2", it was the designer's intent to keep this o-ring taught, as the ball rolls against this o-ring on its way out of the turntable assembly after you shoot the "bat cave" shot through the batmobile spinner.

It seems like this particular o-ring really should have been a wireform. I've been thinking about how I could make a wireform that could be added to the turntable in this area without major surgery.

#16336 3 years ago

The Titan rings are silicone and don't stretch as easily as the factory rubber ones. Therefore a Titan of the same size is gonna be very stressed on those posts. Btw how difficult is it to change that one? Is all the work done on top of the playfield?

#16337 3 years ago

I was wondering what the best upgrade option is for the bat mobile that sits on the spinner disk in the bat cave area. Anyone have a favorite? What’s the best scale/size? Thanks for any insight.

There's so many Hot Wheels variations to choose from. It really comes down to personal taste. I originally had the flat finish one with cheesey black flames on it. Upgraded to the one below. 1/64 is the best size IMO. I dont think anything else will fit to be honest.

I’m going with the thesis that the end game.... the ultimate wizard mode... the moment when this game reaches supernova fun level is when you’ve stacked enough multipliers, villain rewards, active modes and a multiball to reach total lunacy.

Now what?

Anyone try this (a move I lifted from Earl Scheib)?

I replaced the balls when I bought the machine and I’ve only had it for a couple of months. When the bat phone rings and I hit it with the ball it then sticks to the magnet which seems like it’s supposed to be doing that. The problem is the game doesn’t seem to know that the ball is on the magnet.

As was said, your balls are magnetized. Get new balls that aren't susceptible to magnetism.

Take the balls out and check them against a small metal object.
If the ball attracts the object it's magnetised.

Finally officially a part of the club now! Money transferred to Trent at Tilt Amusements today for a NIB Batman ‘66 Catwoman edition; very excited! Can’t wait for 1ish weeks from now when I have the machine in-hand.

I’ll of course be doing plenty of study and research into rules and mods, but off hand, are there any key points in either category that you veterans and pros on the game would recommend paying attention to (rules/how to play) or buying (mods)?

I did a little video on all 3 of my machines new lighted back boxes...check it out.

Post up lot's of pics from when it arrives in truck to turning it on. HAHA.

I need to do a little video on all the mods.
