I turned mine off. It was rattling the glass and I thought the house was going to collapse. It was the factory Stern shaker.

Is there anyplace or anyone making custom backbox badges or has one for sale? I have a premium and would like to change mine. The custom Catwomen badges turned out nice, but I don't have a Catwomen model. Also, anyone know where to find the LE translite?
Quoted from Jakers:What are your thoughts on a shaker motor for this game? For the people that have one, what points in the game is it activated?
Shaker motor seems like no effort was put into it as far as how it interacts with game play. It just shakes the machine like crazy when you hit certain villain shots during modes. Wish the code dealt with this.
My Catwoman has just landed in Sydney I am informed. Should get to me (In Perth) in 3 or 4 days. Counting down! ps I too have a shaker motor being installed... hope they update the code for better integration

She looks really good for 86, but I can't help but wonder how much of the portrait is post processed?
Anyhow, good for her!

Considering a Catwoman purchase ... others I’m battling with are SWLE, WonkaSE, Deadpool ... thoughts are very much appreciated

Me too. Really annoying. I imagine this could be dialed down in software. Ideally, you'd have a knob on the shaker that could add/remove intensity.

Not to sound too bias although you are asking in the BM66 club thread BM66 is one of the best coded, childhood titles fun machines that I have ever owned. What more is there to say, it looks great, shoots great and has Lyman who btw is still dropping code updates for it. Played SWLE and it was ok, not BM66 Good but ok, DP I hear is a fun title as well but have not played one and Wonka is an easy pass for me as it does nothing for me.
I joined the club a few weeks ago and am so stoked! I picked up a Catwoman model and love it. I finally got it dialed in exactly how I want it, thanks to all those that make these wonderful mods like the modcouple and docquest ...so awesome! Also, this thread is the best! Has answered pretty much every question I’ve had as a new owner with just a quick search... A few pics of mine

Did you switch the translight? Because that's not the catwoman translight.
Quoted from Jahkub:Did you switch the translight? Because that's not the catwoman translight.
Yup, I changed it. I prefer this one

Yes, fully agree with this and maybe we should email Lyman or Stern about this. Star Wars or Munsters uses the same shaker motor for example, but Dwight put a great deal of effort into the shaker motor coding variances so nicely. On those tables, it doesn’t just shake one way like Batman does.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:I turned mine off. It was rattling the glass and I thought the house was going to collapse. It was the factory Stern shaker.
Thought the same thing and ordered anti-rattle tape from flipper fidelity and that solved the rattling glass issue very nicely. Now the shaker motor is felt, but does not make the glass rattle at all, nor the machine feel like it’s shaking apart.
Installed a strip of anti rattle tape running down the full length of each side of table glass, on the underside of the glass. Works so well and even does some playfield noise dampening as well.
Joined the club over a month ago and I’m loving the game. Just added some mods but the thing I like the most is the powder coating armor that I purchased through pinball refinery. Steve did a Awsome job on it. It really turned out bad ass. This game is the most played in the collection and is really fun to play. Special thanks to all the companies out there who sell all these beautiful mods. Keep up the great work. Here are some pics of the Catwoman edition.

Nice, but those zips for the heli on the ball trail will interfere with it's travel.
He does a amazing job on the powder coating. It really shows off the machine. Turn around time was fast.
Quoted from DeathHimself:Nice, but those zips for the heli on the ball trail will interfere with it's travel.
Thanks!! The ball doesn’t hit as of now but am going to make a bracket so the helicopter is completely off the rail
If anyone has a extra topper for the Batman 66 and would like to sell it hit me up. Looking for the one that stern put out when the game was released. Thanks I think it’s crazy that stern stopped making the topper but put out a Catwoman edition pinball
Really close to pulling the trigger on a Catwoman! Watching all of your posts really makes me want this pin ... I played it a few years back and enjoyed it but have never played it with the new code so I’m sure it’s amazing!

It's totally worth it. The code is phenomenal and so are the shots. You can play it a bunch of different ways. I play the one at my house with a completely different strategy than I do when I'm at leagues.
Sometimes it's just fun to see how high I can run the bat phone hurry-up.

It was my first NIB and most expensive by a couple grand. We have gone through a lot of pins in the last 3 years and now we love our lineup. Lotr was my favorite but BM66 has moved to the number one spot. I don’t regret buying it and I love the catwoman version we have.
After buying BM66, we decided to get the seasons on dvd and record the shows. My 4 year old son now watches, on the iPad, the recorded shows. Today, I came how from work and he was all pumped up. He came running with the iPad and said, “daddy look, it’s my favorite girl from the pinball.” Apparently he finally got to the Catwoman episodes. I told him, she is my favorite too

Go for it, and yet another code update is about to drop. The gift that keeps on giving.
Considering one the seller says the Crain needs adjustment is this a difficult fix? Any advice or questions I should ask before I would buy? Thanks for the help.

Biggest adjustment to the crane would be making sure its centered directly over each target. This can usually be remedied by setting the Penguin Lag Adjustment to Zero and power cycling the machine.
Quoted from hawkmoon:Question,do all the new Catwoman pins now come out with that pink umbrella on the penguin crane???
No. That’s from TheModCouple.
Just got my cliffys installed and I'm finding the penguin scoop not to be landing as much. Bounces out a lot more and seems a lot less of a previously reliable shot for me, especially on the back hand. Anyone else experience this as well? Anything I can do to correct it? I thought about taking it off and sanding down the front edge a bit to soften it but don't really want to take it out again...

Same problem, but I have the original version of the cliffy, not the Batman 66 specific one.

I also installed the original one...where can I get the BM66 specific item?
I tried to order a set of Cliffys the other day and he said he's backed up until May. Does anyone know where a BM66 set is in stock? I understand he's a busy man but a 9 month wait for a set is crazy.
Quoted from 82Trooper:I also installed the original one...where can I get the BM66 specific item?
Don’t know. I always get my Cliffys direct.

Backed up until MAY 2020?! Really!???
Holy hellatious halt Batman! Sounds like Cliffy needs to upsize!
BIGtime!
I ordered mine 2-3 weeks ago direct from cliffy and they shipped out no problem. Is there a confirmed difference between the DK and BM66?
Either way would love to know if more folks are having issues w/ hitting the shot after installation. Maybe I did something wrong? It's pretty frustrating since it's one of the most critical shots...

Almost every scoop that you put a protector on will become slightly more difficult, including this one. By adding a protector, you are decreasing the size of the opening....it's just the nature of the beast. Only you can decide if the trade off (easier shot vs protection) is worth it.
I order a set of deadpool and attack from Mars cliffy set and it took like 5 months to recieved so he is swamp. He ask me back in January he is getting alot of orders for batman 66 and daid what's going on? I told him theres a new run of batman 66 so dont be surprized more cliffys are order.. guess he is swamp at this point
hey all, so i got my hand on a B66 and it plays overall but I am a feeling the Bat turn optos are registering way too many switch hits and the value goes up like crazy...
I searched around and look at some pictures and i do not see anything that seems strange.
I took a couple videos to compare with other machines, is there something wrong?

Quoted from biglaw:Doing batcopter spinning propeller lights on pad. Special thanks to docquest helping out on how to trigger power without connecting to node board going to make sure bracket works out well also. Quick vid. [quoted image][quoted image]
Looks great. What motor did you use and how did you mount it?
Looks awesome!! Its spinning really fast. What will keep the propeller from wearing out or breaking?
So I have been reading some of the PF chipping threads, have any of you BM66 owners seen chipping in the clear coat on your machines at all? I have not seen any on my build date Aug 2018.

Not at all. Mine has been perfect.

Looks faster on vid than actually spinning..
Hello,
Can you let me know your thoughts regarding the sounds of my turntable motor ? I feel that it is not ok.

From what I can hear in the video, that sounds pretty much the way mine does and just about every other one I have seen and heard. They have a gritty sound to them.

I would have to concur; mine sounds the same. I have rotated the mini playfield many times with the main playfield up, and that's what I hear.
Naturally, it will be somewhat muffled with the playfield down and the glass on.
No worries there; everything is as it should be.
