Thanks for the pictures! I worked on it a long time last night and it's working good now. I hope nothing ever breaks in this turn table again, it is a lot of work to get things done on this mech.

Quoted from Ben1981:

this game is so awesome, had a nice game yesterday where i botched all of my minor villain strategies but had a decent 3 billion score just with major villains and Villain escape.
It's just plain fun no matter in which direction a game progresses

That is probably my favorite part of the game (other than the nostalgia of the theme). I love that you can play it so many completely different ways and still have a super-satisfying game. Even if you ignore the minors and go just majors, you can still choose the villain order, the episode order, and how deep into each mode you want to go. Throw in the minors and the number of different paths to take are nearly endless.

Quoted from WizardsCastle:

Went to update software and nothing happened on boot up. Does the USB have to be formatted FAT32, or will exFAT work?
Also, do you have to move dip switch 8 over like SAM?

I had issues updating IMDN - try reformating the flash drive (make sure fat32)
worked for me

It's certainly a daunting task the first time pulling the turntable out. Once you know how it's assembled, it's not too bad. It's always important to make sure the 3 positions are level against the main playfield. It took a lot of effort and tweaking to get mine where it is now.

Good to hear you got it working!

Quoted from PinsOnly:

I had it come up the other day, It seems to come on now after a game, I haven't had time to look into it, but I did snap a picture of it. I am still on 1.00 code. It clears it if I test node board 10 (I think). Has come back very often after a game. (Pardon the dirt/dust )[quoted image][quoted image]

Anybody come up with a solution for this problem? Happens on my machine now every time i play! testing the node boards eliminates the error message but just temporarily.
I'm running the latest code.
Thanks!

Joining the club .... it's being delivered tomorrow (would have been today but I am working and took tomorrow off already). Premium with Adam West signature ...can't wait

How do you know in advance if you get a singed card? Picking mine up next weekend and am curious. I’m assuming you are buying used.

Quoted from ACcookDC:

If you are buying new, you don’t.

Edit: I stand corrected

#12809 4 years ago
Quoted from jfh:

I don't think that's entirely true - my distributor knew my machine had a signed card. It was one of those 50 from the December run - so I'm guessing Stern told them it had the signed card in it. I believe that random NIBs also have signed cards - those are the ones you don't know until you open, I guess.

What I'm saying is, ask your distributor - they *might* know. Mine did.

#12810 4 years ago

Mine is NIB and the distributor knew it was signed.

Cool.

#12812 4 years ago

So,now the PRe's are coming with the signed cards us LE owners were told were only on ours!!! Ok,then with all the mods to buy,you too can own a clone LE!!

#12813 4 years ago

I am thinking about joining the club soon. I have never bought NIB or dealt with Stern before, is there any way to know (or realistically guess) how long Batman will remain in production? Is there a benefit to buying sooner rather than later or vice versa? Anything else I should know?

My kids and I recently started watching the Batman 66 series and we're all pretty excited!

I believe the license expires at the end of the year. I'd get one this year if you want a new one.

Anyone selling the batwing side rails? Marco is out of stock, but they seem too expensive even if they were in stock at $350 for just pair of rails. I pm'd Pinball-Metal but haven't heard back. If Terry can offer lollipop rails for 60 bucks, someone can do these batwings way cheaper than $350.

I’m pretty sure I got mine from Cointaker last summer for $250. It doesn’t appear that they have them anymore.

I joined the club the other day when I bought zdoor's custom "SLE" Premium. I couldn't be happier. I thought I would post some pics to share. I wish I could take credit for all of the custom work done on this pin. All I can do is admire it and say that I'm proud to I have it in my collection. He even powder coated the service rails!
I'm stoked!

Awesome work someone did on the armor...welcome to the club!!!

However, I do worry about the structural integrity of those backbox hinges. I'd be REAL careful raising/lowering that backbox!!!

Thanks! That someone was zdoor (Gio- pinball refinery). And those hinges feel pretty bomb proof.

Will be in the club next week- i got my shipping notification from Stern a few days ago. It will be interesting if it has a signed card (not that it matters that much to me).

Mine just arrived....unboxing after dinner. Should I play a few games before installing the mods?? Hard not to !

Sweeeet - love the customized coin door bezels, legs, and backbox hinges especially! The powdercoated service rails are a nice standard Pinball Refinery touch.

Help!
Brand new game. The tv on the turntable was missing two screws on top and thus was sticking out a little causing it to get stuck on the left ramp the first time the turntable moved. After fixing the tv, now the turntable won’t rotate at all....it’s stuck in the position where the bat phone is in front. Did I strip gears? How do I reset and get the turntable to rotate again? Thanks

The turntable has a clutch to prevent gearbox issues if it jams. There's a diagnostic for the turntable in the game menu system.

It would be cool to be able to buy the various unsigned cards to put on the apron.... change them around from time to time. Is that possible?

Can't see why not; Ebay has some sets up now.

#12835 4 years ago

Yes, I've bought a few. There are originals and reprints. Prices vary, but unfortunately, some of the nicest ones have been graded and sealed thus making them useless as pinball decoration.

#12836 4 years ago

Apologies if this has been noted already here, but I've run into the same bug twice now where I get three balls locked for multiball but the game doesn't register the third lock and starts going into ball search mode. I found out the hard way the first time that the game eventually drops all three balls - had wife holding the glass while I reached for the ball and they all came tumbling out -- nice way to end my best game ever So the second time I just waited for about a minute and everything was okay.

Anyway, not sure of the situation in the first time, but the second time I was in the first stage of the Penguin mode (well the stage after hitting the crane for the first time) and had Mad Hatter season 1 going when the third lock didn't seem to register. I then hit a few penguin shots and hit the crane again right before hitting the orbit. Anyway, just throwing it out there as it's happened twice in a hundred games or so.

Check out the above post and link
I had the same problem I posted how to fix it let me know if you need more discription to fix the problem. Basically the leaf switch is not registering when the ball presses down. Leaf switch needs be beef up of do a slight bend but keep in mind it need to be just right amount or when you have 1 single ball captured it won’t let it leave

Nice.
How did you connect that without the topper?

There are two versions of the Stern Batsignal - the one for the Premium does not require the topper.

#12843 4 years ago

This is the stand alone version bat signal (502-7037-00). Although it comes with instructions showing how to add it to the premium topper. And contrary to belief here on pinside, it has it's own node board and IS controlled by the game. It turns on and off during gameplay. I recommend it.

Ok so I’m lazy and haven’t downloaded the manual yet as I just got mine last Wednesday. How the heck do I dump those preprogrammed high scores and begin to record my own? I tried messing with them in the adjustments but they keep showing up. Dumb question, I know, but I can’t figure it out.

Enjoy! If you like the theme I think you'll love the game. So many things to play for other than score with all the different villains to try and capture and multiple seasons/chapters. It's even fun to watch others play so you can actually watch the scenes unfold. I was worried initially this pin was overpriced but you get your money's worth in code depth and theme integration. A lot of hard work went into this pin by Lyman and crew.

#12847 4 years ago

Is there a way to allow for the Penguin crane hits to record easier? I’m hitting the ball but the umbrella lights don’t always go out.

Go into adjustments and reset High Scores 1,2,3,4 to something super low. Ditto for Grand Champion. Then go to reset menu and reset high scores and reset GC.

Must resist . . .

So very tempted by this. Does this light up when the bat phone is active or is that just the LE?
