today i launch the game and node 8 error appear
Also when i check the technical error , node 8 error AND node 24 error ??
What should i check first ? CAn the 2 node be out the same day
And how to know which node is bad ? 8 A 8 B ??

Node 24 is the mini TV on the atomic pile rotisserie. I'd check for a loose connection there.
Node 8 is the board by the left flipper assembly. What is the error it is complaining about? Node 8 not found?

Hi PinMonk , Thanks for the answer.
So now Node 24 is working , dont know how....
Node 8 still error.
When i start the pinball, it says red message "LOCATING NODE BOARS 8 NODE NOT FOUND".
Then i open the door and everything start, in Tech alert, i have : "CHECK NODE BOARD 8 NOT INITIALIZED".
I do the node bus test : NODE 8 : "NOT RESPONDING".
The light on the node 8 is red/orange .

Sounds like it died, but you can verify it's the board and not the cable if you swap node 8 and 9 (they're the same board) and just change the ID jumpers so one becomes the other. If what's failed is something node 9 doesn't use, it may just work, otherwise the problem should travel to node 9 and you can then verify that the board needs repair.

Can it be also the 8a or 8b ? If node8 is dead, 8 a and 8 b doesnt work ?

Node 8 is a controller, so if it has a power or switching problem, everything downstream is affected.

I j take the node out of the pinball, and i see no visible problem on it ....
My distro tell me to send him the card so he will try to repair it.
I tell you what was the issue at the end of august when the card will come back.

Did your Batman '66 have the upgrade work outlined in the Stern service bulletin done on it? If not, that's probably your problem. If it's not done, the diode pulls off the board and the power can't flow.

There were two service bulletins around that time. The big blue cap in the one picture means one of the bulletins was done to eliminate false switch hits, but the one to protect the board from failure doesn't look like it was done. It's most-likely your issue. Sorry you found out about this after it already failed...
