Have to say I wasn't really very impressed with the artwork on the flyer release - I did a quick google search on "Batman 66 comic" and wow, there's some great vintage looking artwork done. I hope that's the real style they go with (or better) and not the dumbed down stuff taken from wherever they got the flyer release stuff.

Quoted from halpain24:

So the assumption is this is how they are counting LEs correct?

Not a fan at all of this art style, but this would be a cool way to individualize each of the LE's - unique tag for each one of them with more than just a number change would be pretty great.

Multiple artists on this title are going to make for an amazing package. Thinking about the 90's williams pins, even though most of them had the same artist doing the playfield and the backglass, they were most often very different styles - illustration work with heavy inkwork and colors meant for screen print for the playfields and then more traditional hand painted backglasses.

Bringing in Franchi and using his style of that true painterly feel for the backglass has the potential to be incredible. Couple that with someone who knows illustration inside and out for the playfield and we could have another balanced, harmonious, and high quality art package on our hands.

Quoted from Mr68:

Full Throttle. Unsubstantiated but I heard they only sold 73 of those.

Really??? Wow, that number is wayyyy lower than I would have expected (or hoped).

Quoted from iceman44:

I'd rather not see Tron, never liked it in the first place but I know a lot of people love it.
Anything with an LCD would be a huge upgrade.
Can you imagine a Walking Dead with Zombie heads getting lopped off and all of that great material to work with!!!
Or Ghostbuster clips. Man, they sadly missed the boat by being so far behind the curve on the LCD from everybody else out there.

Yeah, I don't know. I know everyone *loves* LCD screens, but seriously how much time do you actually spend looking at the thing? Besides, frankly, I really really like the hand rendered animations on TWD and GB. There's a sense of artistry to them that gets lost from just copy/pasting frames from the movie. If I wanted to see those clips I'd just watch the TV. Plus, ColorDMD is doing such an amazing job on color conversion for these old games I think I almost prefer color dots over some of the high res stuff I've seen on JJP games. To each their own.
