If I was Stern I would keep jacking up the price to just ridiculous levels if people kept paying it. Why wouldn't you?

I thought Jared going to Stern was going to be a great idea. A pinball lover running the social media helm at Stern! Today, I feel that it's good and bad. Good that we get more factory tour videos. Bad that there is zero honesty or transparency that I had hoped for. Stern was smart to hire Jared but the collector community has suffered.
Quoted from cooked71:Anyone else see the irony in Sterns new position?
According to Gomez and Stern, pinball is grass roots. It's all about the game. No bullsh*t "gimmicks" like colour displays. "The game is on the playfield, the game is under glass". It's all about the player.
Must have now changed to "F*ck, why do we bother even showing a playfield? The game is now in the hype."
Totally Agree. Lately Stern = Pinballers with the level of BS and "hype"
Quoted from Pimp77:JJP should come out and charge $7500 for Pat's LE, $7000 for a standard and watch their sales explode.
Having never considered buying a Woz or Hobbit I would probably be in at that point if the theme is cool.
Quoted from TKDalumni:I'm starting to think Stern doesn't have to show gameplay vid because all the limited models are sold! What's the rush on their part?! Hahaha
Same goes for completed code of course.
Quoted from MK6PIN:My LE arrives tomorrow, and can assure you I will go out of my way to insure they know how disappointed I am if it's not in the box.
You tell 'em! That's sure to have a lasting impact and make them improve their ways!
Quoted from mamemaster:It's great to see the simplified underside....
It now has more in common with the MMRs.....I'm assuming these will be easier to fix in the future.
Enjoy it!- that's a hellva' Christmas Present! .....looks great.
Disagree. Blacknight might chime in on this... but it's now more expensive to replace a simple failed component. Also, how long will these special circuit boards be available for? Will you be able to get one in 10 years if yours fails? I much prefer being able to replace discreet through-hole components for pennies instead of swapping out a major circuit board that is 99% ok with a slight issue rendering it completely useless.
Quoted from LOTR_breath:Dude, when your looking for validation from xTheBlackKnightx, that's like grasping at straws.
Not looking for validation at all. My post stands alone, but I do share some ideas with respect to new large single PCBs that replace discreet components.
Quoted from QuickSilverShelby:Yes, congratulations Stern, your solidly behind Dutch Pinball, Heighway & JJP. You've finished 4th in the race to implement a LCD screen and bring innovation to the industry in a technical way.
QSS
Spooky also did it before Stern. Stern is 5th
