Great picture book, maybe, but seems to be light on actual information. From Amazon reviews:
"What I did not get was detailed information on each (or hardly any, for that matter) of the games. The author spent 80% of his effort tracking down the designers, programmers and sound guys. This is all very interesting, but each one is asked the same question: "Tell me how you got into the pinball biz." Each one has the same story: "I was in college and loved to play pinball. I sent Williams (Bally, Sega, etc.) a letter asking for a job. Whattaya know, they hired me. I worked on lots of cool games--it was the best time of my life!" Man, this gets old after the first twenty such stories! I loved hearing about these guys (at least at first), but this format is amateurish and shows a lack of imagination by the author. Ask a different question, perhaps?"
