In the video around 9 minute mark there are some large plastics of alfred and another of comissioner gordon with chief ohara. They weren't on the expo games so I wonder where they go? Maybe they are part of the premium toppers?

Also saw the penguin crame has a new decal on it thats a little fancier than the plain text decal on the expo games.

Every LE cabinet they showed had inner art blades. I thought they were only included with the SLE's. Would be a nice surpise if the LE buyers get those as well.

Looks like it wont be long now til they finally start shipping games. Really looking forward to the gameplay video.

Cool video. Really impressive operation. Those rotating platforms are really complex. By far it will be the most complicated toy to date, and combined with the crane toy is going to make for a really fun game.

I had the same reaction. What were those?

I was shocked when I saw the inner art blades on the LE. That's a nice little touch.

I just hope the SLEs aren't the only ones that get the extra wrapping for shipping. That would be nice if that was something we see on al LEs going forward.

Agreed!!!!...now a topper beacon and my LE will be complete!!!!

Is it possible that those are just some of the LEs that were special ordered that way?

I don't know who posted first but Stern and JJP posted live FB video 2 hr ago

No catwoman flap overlap? Games on the line? The factory isn't closed for 3 weeks?

What are people here going to pull out of their ass and complain about now?

Lets hope it was on purpose. It would suck if Stern reads this thread and says "oh crap those LE's dont get art blades, take em off".

My distributor never mentioned that option. Anyone here specify to get the art blades with their preorder LE?

My dealer has a alotment to sell!! this is not random choice! if your not in at time of deposit, then ?? There all sold now,so well see!!!

Wait, your distributor still has LEs available?

I can't imagine Stern customizing LEs. Just not practical on an assembly line.

Quoted from jar155:

If jar155 buys one this will be the biggest flip-flop in history.

#6464 7 years ago

If anyone knows of a Distro with an LE for sale please PM me.

New Stern FB vid shows work being done on BM66

Yeah, looks like all overseas LE and SLEs. Hopefully that means domestic is on the line next week.

Quoted from docquest:

I have no interest in buying one, but he's not the first person saying that LEs are still up for sale. If Kaneda is claiming that he's flipping his LE for $11,000, someone could direct a buyer to an available game instead.

At these prices, Stern could serve high tea on the assembly line and not miss a beat.

I guess a distibutor could order more machines than they had preorders for them using their own money. If its a hit like ghostbusters they will come out ahead. If it ends up being like WWE or Kiss then they are in trouble.

That's true. There's a guy I spoke to about a year ago that was still sitting on NIB games from long ago. He still had TSPP and LOTR NIB. He would generally save one or two to just age in his storage space. I called him to see if he had anything used, and he surprised me that he was still sitting on those older games.

Probably. I wasn't watching that closely. It's probably all overseas stuff to get them on a boat.

They typically build for Europe and ship those first. The shipping gives them time to build USA games - the first ones hit each place about the same time.

#6475 7 years ago

Nice to see that box, then that means we are close.

Thanks. Ramp flap doesn't cover catwoman anymore. I can finally sleep at night!!

That's impossible! Everyone knows that Stern sucks and doesn't listen to feedback!

No, that is the job of a distributor... to take stock orders. Not simply take pre-orders.

#6479 7 years ago

Man those Batman pins are looking awful sexy!

Judging by the video it appears that making pinball is indeed very hard.

#6480 7 years ago

If those games are built? there already in peoples hands playing them. Stern isnt trying to hoard them. I did see alot of foreign games. But there were domestics in testing.

#6481 7 years ago

I have to say Batman66 looks fun! Might have to sell my GoT LE sometime next year and pick up a Batman66 Premium

Quoted from docquest:

I did, ( along w topper beacon) but Mike said they weren't going to release the LE's customized w any SLE features...I REALLY hope they include the blade art on the LE's . Really ties everything together....been trying to call this past few days, but my hours are way long right now......excited, regardless

#6483 7 years ago

Can anyone list the shots on the rotating disc at the top?
Is there 3 sides or 4?

1. 2 targets on each side... With a shot with a 1 way gate that hits target and possibly drains to the left orbit. Had batmobile on top

What are the others?

That SLE certificate at ~16 minutes is weird. It says "Batman Pinball Number __Year 2015___ of 50 Super Limited Edition production originals..."

I don't know why they wrote in "Year 2015" for the number of the SLE. Shouldn't it be a number from 1-50, so it reads "Number xx of 50..."? Then the SLE plate can have the actual year of "that" SLE, like they seem to be doing. That way the certificate makes sense, and so does the SLE plate.

There are three positions for the rotating toy. First is the Batphone it looks like there are just 2 standups there that are side by side both facing directly towards the flippers.

Yep that massive rotating disk looks just like a rehash of Bdk. muy bueno

#6490 7 years ago

2nd position of the toy is the TV or villain vision side. It has 2 stand ups the are in a v shape to each other. On the flyer it says the magnet in front if the rotating disc interacts with this position. So i'm guessing you hit the targets then the magnet catches the ball and you watch a clip.

On the left side you can see the ball lock area. Not sure if you can load balls from the front or if its just used to dump balls from that position once its filled up.

Agreed....now I wonder what is under the other 2? This is going to be good.

Edit - Docquest...you are too efficient......what's behind door# 3?

#6492 7 years ago

Third position is the batcave. Here you have a standup on the left (bat computer) and another on the right (crime analyzer). There is also an insert on the playfield in front of both of these so I assume this is the most used of the 3 positions.

In between the standups is the batmobile spinner. Similar to the TOTAN lamp except George says it has a magnet in it so it self centers itself after spinning. I think going through the spinner is one if the ways to feed the physical ball lock mech on the rotating . The other way to feed it looks like the right orbit shot baded on the inserts.

All these rotating toy pics are from the Stern facebook page of the expo games. It's possible some things might have been tweaked since then. All should be answered on the 30'th with the gameplay vid.

When you see it in the Stern factory video, it looks huge underneath it
with all mechs it needs.

I have to say, that's looking like its going to be a very cool toy - for sure that's no coffee can!

Between this and the crane toy (which I love in BDK), I really can't wait to try this game and see if the higher premium price might actually be worth it to me.

Is there any place to buy that plastic protector for the inside of the machine?

It'd be so much easier to lift and the lower the playfield having that in place.
