Two P3's are on free play. If you're not in the tournament, or if you're taking a break from qualifying, Come over and check them out.

Both machines are running Lexy Lightspeed - Escape From Earth right now. Tomorrow we'll switch one to Cannon Lagoon.

Please turn off the shaker on SM First time I have played a Stern with lightning flippers, interesting choice, but certainly makes things challenging on that title. It's a great set up with some amazing people running it. Go check it out today if you are not already planning!

How was final positions determined for 17-24? We were all out after the first round of finals. Should we not be tied for....like 21st or something? Were actual scores from the rounds used or what? No complaints, just curious, as I didn't expect to see results like this.

I'm also listed on here twice as 19th and 22nd....lol

    #20 7 years ago

Points earned in the first round of finals determined your position.
    http://neverdrains.com/batcity2016/playerIndex.php?bracketId=3

Example: Groups 3 & 4 had players that earned five points but did not advance. Those two players tied for 17th. Groups 1 & 2 had three players that earned three points. Those three tied for 20th.

I don't see anyone listed at 19th and 22nd. If you can give me more info I'll see if I can figure it out.
Edit: I got it. Colin posted main tourney results side by side with classics results. You finished 19th in main, 22nd in classics. Thanks to you and your lovely wife for coming. It was a pleasure meeting you both.

I think the real irony of the whole qualifier was that by forcing a 24 player playoff instead of 16 by getting my wife to play one game, I effectively and completely screwed myself out of being in the top 16 and getting any cash. That, and tanking LOTR after holding that stupid qualifying score all weekend uncontested. /sigh -_-

Really really enjoyed the irony of having to play against Bob directly again, and him winning the tiebreaker for that last bye after Colin made sure I couldn't have it outright by passing me on Tron, of all things, which is also what signaled the beginning of my loss at State this year and left me in 2nd.. that's getting to be a nasty pattern. =P

Those games were nasty, but fun for the most part. Wish CV had been on a bit more solid ground, but at least I figured out how to work around that tilt. Still can't believe I saw multiple people trying to stack strike an arc with anything else on there.. big risk big reward I guess, but man... that game was WAY too touchy to take those kind of risks.

Everyone there was awesome. It was a really good time, and I'm still proud of what I did in qualifying, even though I murdered myself in the end.
