Please forgive the basic question, but I've never applied mylar before. I have a NIB game that could use mylar in a couple of possible wear places. I know the playfield should be cleaned and waxed first. Is application just pealing off the sheet and sticking it? Is there any way to mess that up? What happens if you get it slightly crooked or in the wrong place? Can it lift off easily if you try immediately after application?

Again, hopefully very basic questions. I'm just a newbie at this particular aspect of ownership and don't want to get it wrong.

That’s what I figured. Just wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything more to it. Thanks!

    Quoted from KozMckPinball:

IMHO do not wax before putting the mylar on.

Why? I heard you were supposed to do that to ease removal down the road if necessary.
