I was absolutely gutted to read that beloved pinball designer Barry Oursler was the victim of our horrific health care system here in the US and very sadly was not able to get the treatment he needed in time due to losing his health insurance in 2021 (possibly due to Deeproot going under). As a result, his family has been saddled with enormous medical debt.

It's so sad that we have to rely on gofundme for things like this, but that being said here is a link to help Barry Oursler's family in the wake of his passing:

Rest in peace Barry. Thank you for the wonderful games!

Our healthcare system blows, couldn't imagine. We blew through our deductible within the first week of last year due to my wife's cancer treatment. Fuck Cancer!

Perfect! Don’t bother blaming scam artist Robert Mueller who’s entirely at fault that Barry lost his income and health insurance. Excusing con artists and blaming everyone else...

    Classic!!!

why did you start another thread for this? It is well posted in his memorial thread and by the way he was 70 which made him eligible for medicare, so he should have had coverage. If he lost his coverage from Deeproot in 2021 then he would have been 69 and still eligible for medicare.
