Quoted from stumptown:Stars was the gold there, good choice. Price is pretty reasonable too IMO. Nice grab on the Space Shuttle too, that's a lot of valuable parts even if the cab and PF are roached.
I'd be all over those Skee Balls if I was nearby, finding the older ones in decent shape at a decent price is tough! A whole bank of them, no less.
Any idea what the ask is on Contact? Kinda cool theme but I bet it's not very fun with that layout... Guessing not worth much.
Contact is possibility the worst playing pinball ever built. It is basically the same layout as Space Mission but it plays super slow because it is the super wide body playfield. I have owned two of them and they both looked like new (likely because once people played one game on it they never played it again!) I was excited when we bought our first one but once I played it I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Space Mission is a fun game but making that playfield layout bigger killed Contact.
As far as those Skee Ball Machines - 10 years ago I would have been all over them. At my age I no longer have an interest in dealing with anything that big & heavy but Skee Ball machines always sold well for us.
As far as the Space Shuttle machine - that is worth putting some time & effort into it if it isn't totally trashed. And like you said "if it is too far gone there is still a ton of great parts on it".
