Went to the Apple Store in Williamsburg today. In looking up directions, I noticed there was a barcade nearby. It was Barcade, who claim to be the original. They had 3 lonely pins, Twilight Zone, Rollergames, and Street Fighter II. They all played like shit. Rollergames, the right flipper was sluggish and the top right flipper didn’t work at all, making it impossible to make the ramp shot. SF II was a little better. TZ played the best of the 3, but it still was not up to par. Plus, the place was dead empty.
There was a better selection of video games, but only about 15 or 20. I bought 5.00 in tokens and still have most of them. What a disappointment.
