As of 9/12/14, the game is 99% SOLD and pending a pickup next week. Thanks
Banzai Run, made by Williams in 1988, only 1750 made. s/n #566. I bought this in 95' from Pinball Perfection in Pittsburgh (West View) PA, it has been with me ever since and not played much AT ALL in the last 14 years. Recently I had the cpu repaired due to the batteries leaking onto it (corrosion damage) and the ics replaced and a remote battery holder installed. Known issues: The bottom 2 LCD displays do not work, therefore you can't play 4 players. The top 2 work, playing 2 players is fine. I was told $275 to replace all the LCDs up there on top. The dirtbike that pulls the ball up to the top playing field has a coiled/springy wire in back. This wire is old, stretched out and lost its spring hence it sometimes gets caught in the back behind the upper playing field causing the hillclimb not to work. The LCDs then say 'hill closed' and the little dirtbike that pulls the ball up will not move. You can see this happen in the video, which is good because i want people to see it. If you pull the top playing field down and pull the wire out from where it got caught, all is good. This wire needs replaced so that you can continue to become 'king of the hill'. I took a bunch of pics. Those are the major issues if you would call it that. In any pictures you see my finger, I'm pointing out an issue, crack or shitty rubber bumper. The 3 large/round/red bumpers up by the 'spot' are missing rubber and don't react when the ball hits it, they do light up etc. There is a cracked piece of plastic to the left near the bottom of the hillclimb, see pic. A few other small pieces are cracked or missing, I didn't even notice till I went in and took close ups. I believe it has a diamond playing field, see pics, I'm no pinhead. The outside has some cosmetic damage/scratches and some wood chips, again, I took pics. Some pics of the internals will be in the comments section. After my last post just disappeared I'm not putting to many pics on at once. I'm in Pittsburgh, I don't want to ship this thing. Thanks, Kyle
