9k for Funhouse. I think this picture I took of it there fits.

Quoted from Pablito350:

Didn't Gorgar and Big Guns taunt the players?

Also Black Knight 2000, which came out the year prior.

#3853 2 years ago

the crazy prices have returned .... funhouse for nearly 10k LOL

Quoted from Agent_Hero:

Those Aussies love their AC/DC

Yes we do, but not at 50% more than we can buy a HUO one over here!

#3855 2 years ago
Quoted from Agent_Hero:

I have my coupons ready!

You have one for the Bromely Little Pro too ? I need the gear box that shoves the ball up to the golfer.

LTG : )

Quoted from srt-8:

maybe the bidders were Australian ..... that was still worth it to be shipped to OZ

I can assure you some bidders were Australians, but they bowed out of the bidding well before the hammer fell.

Quoted from Agent_Hero:

Terminator 2 as well. I think that will go for $8,500+ just because of theme for the younger money.

welp...

Yep, that's what I meant .... aussie bidders pushing the price up LOL

That BoP played nice, looks like scores were reset.

I feel like Im watching a Beanie Baby Auction from 30 years ago!

#3861 2 years ago

I am seriously disappointed that Terminator 2 did not break the 10k mark (before fees).

#3862 2 years ago

Terminator on eBay for $5k

Ebay starting to look good

#3863 2 years ago

If you can't beat the hell out of these prices for equivalent -- or better -- condition titles, some rarities and LEs excluded, then you're not even trying.

#3864 2 years ago

I love Black knight 2000, but damn.

#3865 2 years ago

These are vintage buyers not pinball buyers. I think the whole Museum thing paid off

Agreed, but that T2 was probably in the best overall shape (inside and out) of any on that row.

One on FaceBook in Florida for $4200.

Chris said he doesn't drive a Ferrari . . . but that could change, *after* this auction !

#3869 2 years ago

Now JM is the greatest movie ever made ? On Weekend 1 it was Barb Wire. A shifting target, evidently.

Think he's more of a Hot Rod type of guy.

Quoted from NPO:

Dialed In LE goes for $7500, and this community is ready to pay $11K now for a JJP LE.
The irony is amazing.

Maybe my math is wrong, but isn't this more like $9500+ with the fees, taxes, and shipping? Not really a good deal...

$9900 plus fees for T2.

A Pinsider just sold a HEP T2 for $11,000, that would make a lot more sense if you want to spend $$. Or, buy one of the nice ones for sale for around $4k and ship it off to HEP and get yourself a real museum quality one for that kind of money.

Quoted from xsvtoys:

museum quality

Subjective for sure

I'm glad they are disclosing at least SOME of the issues. If there's any significant problem requiring repairs, I'm definitely NOT interested, particularly at these prices.

#3875 2 years ago

It's been bugging me - listening to Chris and Dave for the last few weeks - they remind me of something and I couldn't put my finger on it. Chris is the showman making outrageous statements, and Dave "dealing with him" as the knowledgeable expert that is constantly getting over-run.

Then I got it! Chris is Fred Willard from Best In Show!.

They don't really spend any amount of time checking them over. If it coins up, it's sold as working.

#3877 2 years ago

I’m soooo bummed I did not register to bid on Zankor. I expected it to go for $5k+ before fees being so rare. Only $3200 hammer. Damn it. Anyone here get it?

#3878 2 years ago

IJPA coming up!!!

Quoted from SDpinballer:

I'll guess 19k

#3881 2 years ago

Geez since the Stern Indy went for over 10k, this should be well over that but we will see!

#3882 2 years ago

I’m at $20k out the door IJPA

#3883 2 years ago

Aren't many of us SO GLAD that we bought at least a few years ago, BEFORE all this insanity ?!

Nearly pressed the button on that. One of the only good deals today thus far.

#3885 2 years ago
Quoted from Asmig:

Good call. $18750 out the door

#3886 2 years ago

$14,000 STTNG, and Demolition Man is the second best movie!

#3887 2 years ago

Based on this auction, we don't have enough insurance.

#3888 2 years ago

BSD is the best movie ever now!

#3889 2 years ago

But that Mist ball don't move, at least not for several MOP visits . . .

#3890 2 years ago

Someone calling out their bids on the floor sounds like he's on a cattle drive.

#3891 2 years ago

"Now this is a truly great game. It's really cool. Lots of things to do and I really like playing it. Just a really great playing game in an era of great games... and a great buy."

Greatness is great!

Now I wish John Madden was voicing this.

#3892 2 years ago

... and that BSD's playfield is in poor condition!

I don’t know, people seem to be bidding for licensed themes?
