Actually Verne turns on, language issue again. We only had 1 invertor for 2 machines.
Vernes world has inverter inside the machine

Dear future Midway Gun Fight owner, you may want to replace this as it's shorted. Game still works.
I’m planning to buy it
Anything else wrong ?
I have my Jolly Park set to "exhibition" mode, which seems to be freeplay but then doesn't keep the high score. You can do that with the dip switches on the main board (little late now I guess). The prior owner rigged up the coin release to add credits, that worked fine too.

I’m really regretting not bidding one last time at $3400. These just don’t come up for sale. I figured whoever got it was not one of the same guys who won the Cyclone or Data East Batman. Can you ask Cary if he would have countered at $3500? How high was he willing to go?
I’ll answer your question within 24 hours. I got a thing to do about picking up a game first.

Mpu has major battery corrosion
Will never play again
Crazy price - new owner will be very disappointed
They might be able to grab a mpu from somebody in Europe. I've seen lots of spinball parts on the craigslist type thing in Spain. Can't think of the name right now, must be getting old!
For those in the know, what is the real story with the Cosmic Carnival? Does it really just need the code?
Did it go for $5,100? I looked away. Maybe not that bad if it can easily get running.
Edit price: Thanks GroggyFrogFace.
I was bidding on that like mad! So angry I didn’t get it.
Quoted from ZooDude:
So people coming from Australia and Dubai paying crazy prices to fill containers to ship back to their countries means California sucks?
People keep saying this - I haven’t seen any evidence of it.
My contacts in Australia don’t know anyone buying games. There is hardly any pinball in Dubai.
Feel free to post up if you have some intel about these mysterious “international buyers” …
Dialed In LE goes for $7500, and this community is ready to pay $11K now for a JJP LE.
The irony is amazing.
Hobbit LE Black Arrow out the door for $10250. Not too far off current asking prices…
So far they seem to be pedal to the metal, straight on through, no meal or restroom breaks.
Quoted from srt-8:
maybe the bidders were Australian ..... that was still worth it to be shipped to OZ
No it’s not.
$30,000 Australian dollars plus shipping and taxes is “not worth it”
The bidder was on the auction floor.
People from most of Australia can’t fly anywhere due to COVID.
Anyone know how many people are present at the actual auction? Curious if it's less people than two weeks ago.
Batman 86 was really lame as originally delivered, but they improved the code a lot as time went on.
