Quoted from NicoVolta:

Any guess on Spanish Eyes? Surely not four digits... egad!

Every EM will be over 1000 - provided internet bids can come in... This auction has heaps of worldwide interest, EMs can sell for a few hundred in the US, but in other countries EMs can be a few thousand.

I'm gonna say $1500

$2000 of

This will be great retirement for John

He deserves it , nicest guy !!!

#1004 2 years ago

Anyone still think Chris is going to be the one making all the money this month?

Quoted from MtnFrost:

Those are just insane prices from people who have no clue about pinball, it would seem. Yeah, I have 1 tonight and 6 tomorrow, but given what we've seen, I will expect to stick to our normal markets. What is the average price on that Nitro? Your bid mirror my own thinking.

I’d say right around 1800. Depends on condition of course. One recently sold on Pinside for 1300. One is for sale now for 2300, looks pretty nice.

#1009 2 years ago

I suspect the video issues are that there are thousands watching...remember this was advertised on New York Times article....people all over the world...I spoke with Precision Moving and Storage and Michelle told me record number of overseas buyers were going to be bidding. Todd

The Red Max is rare, but, holy... glebugherndddtttppppppppth

#1011 2 years ago

Algar for $7375 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1012 2 years ago

At this point I have to believe someone local is blocking the online customers so that they can keep the prices down

#1013 2 years ago

Ok, now I can feel good knowing I will NOT be missing any great deals.

#1014 2 years ago

Thanks to Azmodeus for those photos. (Couldn't shave for this auspicious event, eh buddy ? Never mind: it's Casual Friday . . . )

Twitch is currently running some archival past auction, with a pronounced echo. Or is there a better, more complete URL ?

Do you have to be on FB to watch the live feed over there ?
[O.K., I see that you do not have to be a FB user for that.]

#1015 2 years ago

hopefully the newer stern pinballs will be dirt cheap!

#1016 2 years ago

I’m just glad this auction is finally happening so randos will stop texting me about it.

The feed is so bad that the game sold while a different title was still showing on the feed. Sad.

#1018 2 years ago

whats amazing, is that I got a price for a tractor trailer to TNT (45 to 48 machines), and that certainly will not be happening...at least so far...these games are higher than retail...

#1019 2 years ago

The current bid for Globetrotters is over 3500 at the moment - before fees!

#1020 2 years ago

I predict that a bunch of machine for sale on pinside adds will magically sell while the auction is going on.
Some of these machines are currently listed for sale at half the price.

Rumors are flying out of Brighton, Michigan that a guy resembling Clay Harrell is running naked down Spicer Road screaming "I'M RICH! I'M FILTHY STINKING RICH! YOU ALL CAN JUST KISS MY ASS!"

#1023 2 years ago

Sooooo...I guess this means Stern LE's will be like $50k lol

#1024 2 years ago

First BILLION gets my collection....LETS GOOOOO! lol

Quoted from alexmogil:

It’s all the stimulus free money

#1026 2 years ago

This is the dumbest thing I've seen in a while. $3800 hammer price for Harlem Globetrotters?

#1027 2 years ago

King Kool looks beat.

#1028 2 years ago

Use to see King Kool for $200 on FB marketplace and it would never sell. This one doesn't even look like it works.

#1029 2 years ago

King Kool sold. $1,600

#1030 2 years ago
Quoted from AnimeDude892:

King Kool sold. $1,600

Plus fees and tax. Over 2k!!!!!!!

#1031 2 years ago

Scorpion is coming up!! I can't wait to see how huge my retirement fund is going to be...lol! I heard a perfectly restored Scorpion is worth $36 million!

$2375 with fees

Quoted from Coindork:

I hope they are taking into account the amount of internet traffic this could potentially generate. Even if people are not bidding and just following the auction it’s going to eat up a lot of bandwidth.
The internet connectivity at Banning has always sucked.
Hope they are taking this into account and taking the proper measures.

I feel like Babe Ruth.

#1034 2 years ago

My big takeaway on this:

PAPA fucked up pretty badly not handling it this way. Probably left tens of thousands of dollars on the table. Probably more.

#1035 2 years ago

This is clown shoes. The pricing, the presentation, the insipid Facebook comments. What an absolute embarrassment.

#1036 2 years ago

Remember this post for when Embryon sells for over $6k at Captains

#1037 2 years ago

I should put games in my next live Best offer Sale!

#1038 2 years ago

That King Kool was a roach. I worked on it.

#1039 2 years ago

Scorpion just sold for $4,000.

Papa sold theirs for $900. I almost bought it.

#1040 2 years ago

My gorgeous Hollywood Heats sold way below this price!

#1041 2 years ago

I'd pay an extra $100 for one of these games if it meant they'd stop trying to stream this on a hotspot. Painful.

#1042 2 years ago

$3400 for a Monte Carlo that wouldn't kick a ball out. Oh no.

#1043 2 years ago

Big House at least is a bargain at $5100

#1044 2 years ago

I’m mostly curious to see if this runs out of gas.

It’s obviously not pinball people bidding these games up. It’s crazy civilians who don’t realize what “market prices” are and also can’t comprehend the huge difference between hammer price and actual price.

I wonder if this continues through the weekend. It could be the whales get satiated day 1 on $4000 comets and scorpions and $3000 Roached EM projects.

Could the pinball auction bubble burst?!

There's a project one here for 600. That's how I like my pins, cheap and needing work.

Quoted from toddtuckey:

You mean $ 6625

#1047 2 years ago

Yes! I won Big House!!

jk, that game is junk.

#1048 2 years ago

I'm going to reference MoP auction prices when I sell any game on Craigslist for the next year at least.

#1049 2 years ago

Big House does have deep bass in the sound track though

#1050 2 years ago

Prices are an absolute joke. Goodness me.
