Quoted from Cornelius:No "Bama" care isn't a joke. Sorry that you feel people shouldn't have the right to affordable healthcare. Sorry that you think employers shouldn't have to pay a little out to make sure their employees have health coverage.
"Bama" care is a joke. And it's not because folks feel that people shouldn't have a right to affordable healthcare. Before, it was affordable. Now, since the Feds are paying subsidies to cover unemployed (california is looking to pass a law that allows government subsidies for illegal citizens, too), costs have gone through the roof. Fact.
The one provision that bewildered me, but everyone thought was so great....kids can stay on their parents health insurance until the age of 27...the Feds are basically saying "the economy sucks, you are gonna graduate from college in tremendous debt, and there won't be jobs with health insurance for you to get on your own." How is that provision a good thing?
Stay dependent on your parents long enough to become totally incapable of being responsible for yourself, that will make sure you become totally reliant on the government after you can no longer rely upon b your parents....which then ensured votes for the party who believes in big government.
Hey..,the middle class isn't doing good at all these days. Wouldn't that be "too big to fail?" Where's our subsidies and handouts?
