Hi Pinside,

Family owned pin, my first time fixing (but I do electrical/automotive stuff).
Cleaned the playfield, got new game specific rubber, lights, replaced all that.

Found an issue after moving where I would not get a game over, the last ball would just keep going and going. Found a wire popped off in the backbox, resoldered it.

I notice that 'big plastic' cam, I believe called the 'Reset Motor trip relay bank' when the credit button is pressed (I do not use coins, it looks likes only nickels are set up and I do not have any handy), runs correctly, but the 'Game Over Reset' cam does not 'clear' the leaf spring switches, and stays pressing on it. The game then will go from ball 3 to 2 to 1, and then never do a game over. If I manually move that cam so it is not activating (after entering a new credit), I DO get a Game-Over like I am supposed to.

Is there an adjustment on the 'Reset Motor trip relay bank', or is it supposed to be stuck like that and something else is amiss? I can try and upload a picture in a few.

Thank you!

There is a picture for reference on ipdb that may help. Similar to yours but it looks like the last cam should just clear the Game Over relay with the index cam in its rest position, which would make sense as the Game Over relay is normally tripped unless a game is in progress so its cam must be clear.

Compare with my Rocket III the cams all rest before the reset position, like this Bon Voyage. Tbf they both have far fewer relays on the bank.

There is some service information in the "Introduction to Bally Flipper Games" manual (available online just google it) that may help, but nothing obvious to adjust the rotation of the cams. Those relays can be individually tripped and latched with your finger to check them (power unplugged!) perhaps the cam has worn and it's not lifting far enough to latch?

Edit. A similar problem here https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/bally-odds-and-evens-no-end-of-game

I would also check this Ball Count zero M/B sw.

Manually adjusting the cam, more than just a bit past necessary, or from just running the machine enough, has cleared the issue. Now I just have some backlights and field items erroneously tripped, but it's very playable

Thank you.
