Hello, new to the forum, father in law gave us his old Bally's fireball home edition. Wasn't working when we got it, found a great power supply board breakdown on the internet and ordered replacement parts, removed everything from the old power supply board and replace it with new and it worked great. At a recent party one of the kids apparently pressed the start button multiple times and the game stopped working. Currently when plugged in the display lights on the playing field and top display light, the paddles work, but the score board is dark, and nothing happens when the start button is pressed. fuses are good the power board has proper output voltage but not sure were to look from there? I'm new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Over the years I have read a dozen Threads on Pinside, some go into detail.

Look for a bad connection to the main board. The solder to the connector pins has a reputation of going cold and needing to be reheated.
Give the kid a break. Pressing the start button a lot of times shouldn't break the game. More likely it wore out from being played too much. Bally home pins had a reputation for being poorly designed. If it was played a lot at the party a fuse might have gone out.
