The back board doesn't light up, flippers aren't working and I cannot start a game. Everything was working fine, then the back board shut off and the flippers don't flip and I can't start a game. I am an amateur at repair to say the least. Is there a repair kit I can get with the fuses bulbs etc?
First thing I would do is check all the fuses. With the machine off, remove them from the holder and test each one for continuity. You can do so with a multimeter or continuity tester from any hardware store. Also make sure all the fuses are the correct value. You should also be able to get the fuses at the hardware store if they need replacing or changing.

It is rarely just the fuse but it can help to have spares on hand. Bulbs are something you will need to replace over time. Many parts can be ordered here:

To start I would lift out the backglass and check the boards. The MPU board originally came with an on board battery that leaked. Is there one on your board and does the board look ok? If you power the game on does the led on the mpu flash 7 times? If not how many flashes?
