I'm in the middle of a Bally zipper mechanism rebuild. This mech was filthy and full of old grease and dried up crud. I cleaned the whole assembly, replaced all of the nylon washers with new parts and installed new nyliner bushings on the cam arms. I will be installing new coils, cranks, EOS, etc.
Is there any portion that should be lubricated? The center slide part that moves back and forth rides on collars and washers. There could be quite a bit of friction there.
I'm adding a poll to this post and looking for feedback.
