Quoted from Ballypin:My current zippers are Bazaar, Cosmos, Dogies, Nip-It and Surfers.
Gone but not forgotten are Fireball, Op Pop Pop, Capersville, Dixieland and Medusa (not a Zale).
Of the 9 remaining Bally zippers, I’d like to have a Rocket III and Rockmakers. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Great line-up. My 1st zipper flipper game was Medusa. I tend to forget that Medusa has the zipper flipper feature. As you state, it's not a Ted Zale design.
I had the opportunity to buy another Rocket III locally and I couldn't resist. I really wanted an original backglass and the local game had a great one. So I swapped my Bgresto repro glass for this nice original, as depicted.
I guess that I'll be offering the other Rocket III for sale with repro backglass, in the near future.
20190227_225211 (resized).jpg1968 Bally MiniZag arrived today (purchased 2 months ago). This example's best element is its playfield. Also, the coin door is exceptionally nice.
I will touch up the cabinet's blue graphics and leave the white to preserve the game's patina. Spring projects are always fun and I'm looking forward to this groovy one.

Mad World is Stenholm's masterpiece.
1968 Bally MiniZag is up and running. Cosmetic and mechanical restoration is complete!
I repainted the cabinet's blues and left the original white areas. The original backglass has some flaking, mostly in the arm of the center female. . .overall an 8+. The playfield and plastics cleaned up well. The coin door, legs and aprons are all very nice.
I love the groovy Jerry Kelley art package, which I deem to represent the night-life counterpart to Bally Surfers. There was a beat up MiniZag at Pinfest a couple of years ago, which drew me in. I'm pleased to have acquired this example.

It is occupied by 6 Bally EMs, 4 of which are zipper flipper designs.
Tonight, I finished restoring Skyrocket, including upgrading the backglass with a better original backglass. The primary flaws are limited to a nonilluminated area in the lower right area. The playfield and cabinet are both in very good shape.

I sold my four zipper flipper games to help fund my daughter's college tuition. The same collector bought all four games (plus two others).
Consequently, I have surplus Bally parts available for zipper flipper games as depicted:
*scarce add-a-ball relay
*apron with new decal
*coin door with plate and chute
*nice extra coin plate
*25 cent and other coin mechanisms
*vinyl canopy glass channel
*score reels with coils
*some schematics/manuals
*perhaps other parts
Message me, if interested. Pinside donation will be made attendant to a sale.
Games recently sold were Surfers, Rocket III, MiniZag and Cosmos.

20200705_202130 (resized).jpg20200705_202209 (resized).jpgHello fellow hobbyists. Thank you for your messages regarding the above Bally parts. Please give me a couple of days to reply.
If I fail to reply by Wednesday, please message me again to ensure that I have not overlooked your message.
1969 Gator arrived today and is up and running. This game will be for sale, in the near future.
I am seeking a better backglass of any Gator version, crystal glass, plexi, USA or German Aligator version. Also, the 1 point bell appears to be absent so I'm looking for one of those. Third, I need a "palm corner cap" for the canopy frame (which I imagine are scarce). Last, I need the proper scorecard (I haven't yet checked the online scorecard database).
This example has what I suspect is a prototype head because it has a 5th digit dummy reel. I have seen 5 digit dummy reel examples with squared-off score windows. This one has rounded score windows like the 4 digit production version, which is interesting. Perhaps it was a transitional/alternate prototype.
Below are photos of the game, upon arrival, with its decades of dirt and degraded rubbers. The playfield will likely clean up very well. The plastics are intact. Two of the pop bumper caps somehow escaped burn stains. All inserts are level.
The aprons, legs and door are all in good shape. The leg bolts are correct.
The cabinet graphics are bright, even before cleaning. This game has one of the best overall original cabinets of the 9 zipper flipper games I've had in my line-up.
The canopy is nice (save for the missing corner cap) and the top glass is good.
After I complete the cosmetic restoration, this game will be for sale.

Quoted from Chalkey:I just got a gator home as well, so excited! Such an awesome game. I saw BGResto does the backglass, is it available anywhere else?
No silkscreened ink versions are available. If I can't find a better original, I will opt for the BGresto.
Quoted from Garrett:Looking forward to the pictures!
And a good gameplay video is sorely needed on Youtube.
I've had two Cosmos games in the past and I really like that title. Here's a video clip I posted on 10/27/2018 on the EM Pinball Facebook page about one of those games.
