Hi,
Traded another pin for a nice Bally Wizard. Problem is previous owner couldn't get it working, now that's my problem! Here's the lowdown.... When game is turned on, score motor runs continuously, knocker pulses, play meter counts up, and several relays go on and off, namely TILT relay, and a few others. I have eyeballed all relay contacts, checked for metallic fragments shorting anything out, checked for stuck PF switches, etc. When the playfield plugs are disconnected from the lower cab, the problem goes away, so to speak, that is, the constant running stops. Is this enough info for anyone to help me?
Thanks!

Quoted from Bally-High1966:

score motor runs continuously

Start by checking these switches that run the motor.

Will do that when I get a chance. Thanks, HowardR!

Bally Wizard strange behavior PROBLEM SOLVED!
OK, This is a little embarrassing, but I'm posting for the benefit of the Forum members.... I retraced my steps with this game and found that the Jones plugs from the PF were plugged into the backbox, instead if the lower cabinet board! That explains all the weird behavior. Once I found and corrected this, was able to play a game on the machine! Looking at the wiring color codes on the schematic helped me find the issue. Just goes to show.... You need a schematic!!
