Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:First part, I’m struggling to understand the “actually”s
You’d think as part owner, you’d take the time to spellcheck, sheesh!
Second part, definitely shouldn’t have said “always” but just had a Williams EM I was helping someone with that wouldn’t even turn on with the left flipper until the ball was in the trough. Just ran into so many of troubleshooting sceneries where the game is waiting for a ball, figured it was a good place to start!
If I’m remembering correctly, most EM schematics are written in the state of “Credit was inserted, start button was pressed, now the machine has a ball in the shooter lane” and you read it as such.
I just recently was having troubles when testing my Olympic Hockey to make sure all of the scoring was working correctly. When I played the game everything seemed to worked correctly, but when I tested the rollovers and switches manually by hand, they were not scoring correctly. I took me about 30 minutes to figure out that when the ball was sitting in the shooter lane, the game would not score correctly because there is a switch underneath the ball in the shooter lane that needed to close.
