I have a Bally Viking I am trying to restore. The sound board cuts in and out. At first I had no sound then it started up in the middle of a game. It worked fine for about seven games then it disappeared. Any ideas of where to start diagnosis?

with the game off rotate the pots on the sound board left and right a few times.

try reseating the connectors to the sound board

Intermittent sound is typically a dirty pot. It can also be a loose solder connection to a sound board connector pin.
