Just playing that game the other week having fun; I like it.

I would go all original personally. Not a fan of powder coating myself...although that bad boy wouldn't look horrible all blacked out. You start getting into "it being red cause it's blood" etc it just gets too American Chopper to me.

Anyways, Grand Lizard!

Man I hear ya... And I'm not a powder guy so take it with a grain.... But just look up some pics of blacked out machines... They're actually quite striking

Quoted from Colsond3:

I hear you and appreciate the input. My buddy Law said the same thing.
I go back-and-forth on them, and in my experience with painted cabinets they don't cause much damage. I usually see the most damage with them on decal cabs.

For me on this one, it isn't the possible damage it's just the overall look.

You're paying to get a nice red color on the trim/legs, and then there's this plasticy artificial blue breaking up the look where they meet...just makes it look more sloppy IMO. I just don't understand the benefit.

Anyway no big whoop, keep up the good work.

Quoted from Colsond3:

In my experience, metal legs eat into the cabinet, especially when serious nudgers constantly play your games (particularly when the old timers in my family jump on my EM's).

Then my vote (I understand I don;t get one) is this for sure. You shouldn't ruin the time you invest making the game look so sweet with a chunk of ugly mismatching plastic.

Quoted from Colsond3:

Once I finish the art on the front, I may switch to the metal Stern standoff protectors.

Quoted from Atari_Daze:

I thought the blue ones were temporary until the black ones arrive?

Black would look better than blue
