Great thread for a great looking machine! I may have to add one of these to my wish list. I'm not an EM guy, but man this one is pretty sweet for an EM!
I'll be following this to see how your cab work comes out.

I'll be following this to see how your cab work comes out.
What about the method from this post, have you looked into this?

Glad to see my efforts were of some inspiration and hope your recovering well from your knee surgery. I'm enjoying your progress and can't wait to see this thing when it is complete, It's going to be a masterpiece.
Quoted from Colsond3:It's the tedious things that take up the time, but this game deserves it.
As they say, the devil is in the details, keep up the great work!
Quoted from Colsond3:preference on repainting the inside of the cabinet?
With all the attention to detail you have put elsewhere, don't skimp on the inside of the cab!
Wow you made some great progress this weekend!
I got a few things knocked out as you noted on my thread, yes I will clear the legs tonight, the rustoleum has had 48 hrs to cure now.
Keep up your great work.!
Quoted from TheLaw:plasticy artificial blue breaking up the look where they meet.
I thought the blue ones were temporary until the black ones arrive?
GEEES that thing is phenominal!!! Are you actually going to play it once complete, I hope so!
My boss has a collection of fine automobiles and NEVER drives them including a Viper with almost 1000HP. He is like Cameron's dad and the Ferrari from Ferris Beuller, just wipes 'em with a diaper!
Can't wait for further updates.
Man that thing does look good, Merry Christmas gift to you!
$10k by Christmas, it looks better than even that amount!!
Nice work
Colson, that is such a gorgeous Vamp!
I'm so glad you documented everything.
I'm taking a short break from SBM repair and saw you had gotten up and running.
Glad I stopped long enough to see you can finally play that thing.
Quoted from Colsond3:I think I've played about 50 games.
I'm totally jealous getting to play that masterpiece. Hope I can get the SBM caught up to your Vamp very soon.
Don't think it will be quite as nice as your beautiful machine but better than what it was!
I haven't forgot that I owe you a pm.
Man that thing looks and looks like it plays great! I've officially added this as the first EM on my wish list.
Thanks for your excellent documentation.
Quoted from Colsond3:an original coinbox for this thing, but I didn't give it to the powder coater.
Seeing all the other effort you put into this, if the rattle can won't match the rest close enough, and budget is of no concern, have it powder coated.
What CactusJack says is true that most will never see it, but YOU will and YOU will know it's there and if it is NOT up to your expectations!
Sheeeeeet, does this mean I need to consider doing the box for my SBM? Guess you will have to check my build thread to see what I do with it.
Quoted from Colsond3:redo the front again changed more grayish to match the original aged & faded cabinet.
^^^ That - IMHO
Damn, saw 10 new posts on here since last night, thought I was missing something HUGE.
