Bally, 1988Has anyone installed the Proto 3 version software to U2 and U3 from Proto 2 version and the game not boot up after that?
Bally had a service bulletin (SB-01 12/15/88) that said there was a ROM error where the game would intermittently lock up when
in the multi-player mode using proto 1 and 2 version software on U2 and U3.
It was only between serial numbers 180000-182700, which mine is.
Should I go back to the proto 2 version?

The Proto 3 version is there to solve the problem.
If you go back to Version 2 the problem is back.
Staying with the latest version is the best way.
