I'll be picking up my TAF in a few weeks. It is really in pretty good condition and since this is my daughters favorite, it will be nice to have my own. The only minor blemish is the Grave Yard mode decal. Is there a way to just replace this one decal and not the whole mansion? Thanks for your help from a future owner.

It is interesting how much easier it got between TAF and STTNG to work on and under the playfield. TAFs playfield can be lifted off its cabinet posts and moved out actually. Just need to be careful. Then again you always need to be careful

Quoted from Dahawk007:

Depending on the size I might add this new Cousin It to my game somehow

I used Pops as my STTNG topper.

Quoted from EvanDickson:

Ok, I have a game play / rules question. Any time I manage to get THING lit, and then get the ball to thing, he picks it up, I get my 5M points, and then Gomez says "no no no" and thing puts the ball back. Is the "no no no" just a quote from the movie? And should it always put the ball back? Or have I done something wrong like not manage to light up both star lights (which seems very hard to do)?

I always get the No No No when the yellow light over the center "thing" ramp is lit. It is fun listening to my daughter actually say it as soon as she makes the shot.

I waited too long to edit my original...here's the picture for the post above

I have had balls get stuck there too occasionally. Usually when "Thing" flips and it goes clear across the swamp. Very rare and I haven't tried to fix it yet.

Hi All, I posted a little while ago about removing mylar for a playfield protector install and thanks for the replies. I'm in a position now where I can start but I have wear on the mansion inserts that will definitely be visible underneath the playfield protector. What would you do in this situation? Pics included.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I have some mansion windows that have similar issues. I bought the mansion decal a few years ago and thought of cutting the windows out of it to replace the worn ones in the game. Then put mylar over the mansion area between the slings like I have seen done on some routed games. I even thought of having the playfield replaced recently and for now have decided to just enjoy playing it.

I bought mirror blades for my TAF only to find that there was not enough space between the playfield and cabinet to fit them between. So I put them on my STTNG.
