I recently installed a new playfield in a TAF for a guy who had all red bumper caps, he liked I though!

Quoted from gilders:I bought my TAF 15 years ago. I was told that it was a rare one as it has Thing flicking the ball towards the player on the left side of the cabinet. I was told that this was because it was one of the very first ones built.
I think it must be fairly rare as I've only seen one other like it on line.
But is the story about it being one of the first ones made true?
Or is there some other reason for the side art being different on my TAF?
I have come across this on a few I have restored, I just think some got printed that way!
Quoted from jake35:80% of them were reimports... #1-799..
Is that actually how many left the US originally? I knew the early (lower run numbers) went to Europe etc but had no idea it was so many! I have owned #0082 for 11 years now
Quoted from MintIndeed:"il me perce comme un poignard"
It pierces me like a lance.(My wife knew the line from memory, just from your clue.)
Awesome, I never knew that's what she said
Quoted from LongJohns:1) is anyone having issues with the top right flipper staying put? I am guessing it is getting hit by a ball from the backside which seems to turn it clockwise. One can only tighten is so much, so any suggestions?
I have had flippers where the shaft has come loose from the actual plastic part of the flipper so moves separately, check this out.
