So I was in this club a year ago when I picked up a TAF in a collection purchase.I sold 6 of the 8 games almost immediately. I kept TAF, played it for a short time then yanked the play field to have it touched up and cleared. At EXPO I got my hands on a TAFG. It is filthy and I will eventually give it the royal treatment. The one being cleared is already traded (when its completed). The interesting piece to this story is before it goes to its new owner he has agreed to let me take it to my kids school. They are doing The Addams Family for their H.S. play. I will be setting it up in the school for a few weeks for 25 cents a play and donating the money to the drama club.(once we get final approval) I'm excited to actually give back in the form of pinball. I will keep you posted.

I'm just finishing up a playfield restoration.I have a set of plastics from IPB. Can anyone explain where these supposedly went/go. Its always interesting to see some of these unique plastics.

I’m on my third Addams Family restoration and every time I do one, one of these shows up with plastics. Someone please tell me where this was supposed to go. Was it a Proto type plastic or what

Well my third Addams Family restoration is complete. I’m actually taking this Restored Addams Family to the local brewery for route. I want everyone around here to enjoy as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Quoted from CLEllison:

How much money do you have into that and how long is it going to take to pay it off? You're awesome for doing this, but no way in hell would I restore a TAF to that degree and put it on route. That title even if in pretty rough shape still commands coin if it plays well.

6K in it hard costs. This one was never about the bottom line. I just wanted to let the people at my Brewery enjoy a restored classic. I will not get hurt on this but profit, well we will see.

Quoted from pinballinreno:

Lol
Fix 'em up, tear them down!
Rinse, repeat.
In the mean time its all about how they play.
Modern restorations play way better than brand new games ever did!
Well worth $1-$1.5 a game.
