Mysterious and Spooky Part??

Hi folks...N00b to the thread and to pins in general, so stupid question of the day.

Got a "moderately" neglected TAF and while going through the cabinet debris, came across 2 of these:

1.5"x2.5"x1.0" - not "paired" (i.e. no left vs. right, both the same).

Could someone tell me if these go with the machine? and if so, where?

If not, anyone know what they are and what pin they are for?

ALSO - Michael's Arts and Crafts (and probably Jo-Ann's or equiv) has a couple nice Halloween options for making pop bumper toppers for the cemetery:

Hey Folks,

just swapped in a RottenDog MPU board (with original CPU, ASIC and ROM) and F902 (upper right flipper) on the Extra Flipper Supply Board blows immediately.

Everything else is fine...dots, sound, lights, plays fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely pull the board and check the Q's.

As for the symptoms....well, it's convoluted...there weren't any actually.

I was getting no D20 on my STTNG MPU, so swapped in my TAF MPU to verify an MPU fault. Life was good, so left the TAF MPU in STTNG and got a RottenDog to replace TAF. Put the RottenDog MPU in TAF and and as long as I was in the back box, I had swapped in a new XPin DMD board, but since I have a ColorDMD, didn't think anything about that, really... 8-)

So, unfortunately, several variables going on at the same time... sadly, it was playing great before I started fiddling.

So, will swap back in original MPU and DMD Board, just to get things back to status quo and pull and check the fliptronics board.

On the surface, the other changes appeared innocuous and *should* have resulted in a more reliable game, but.... <sigh> 8-)

Just shows to go ya.
