    I’m working on my first SS. It a sterns galaxy. I’m trying to find out what is on the MPU board at C13 & C30.

    c13 = 10nF (103)
    c30 = 390pF (391)

    All the capacitor values are in the Bally manual on the MPU component list

    Quoted from barakandl:

    c30 = 390pF (391)
    All the capacitor values are in the Bally manual on the MPU component list

    Are those always going to be consistent with MPU-200?

    pretty sure all the capacitors and their designation numbers match mpu200 to bally -35. mpu200 just has an extra ram, some different types of logic chips, four more diodes. plus a handful of different and extra resistors

    wish stern would have made a component listing sheet like bally did. they probably did, just never put it in the manual.

    Is it these 2 at Marcos?

    That first pic is a resistor, not a capacitor. Second one looks ok

    Is this the right capacitor to replace the old one on the solenoid driver board?

    That'll work, yup. Slightly higher capacitance, but in this issue it won't bother anything.
