    Hello everyone!
I’m a long time pinball owner and have had success in many fixes. I’m stumped on one issue on my Bally Star Trek that I cannot resolve. The “High Score to date” lights no longer flash at all when the high score is displayed. I’ve checked connections back to the lamp driver board and could not get voltage on Q15 which I replaced and still cannot get a reading on the new one. I’m looking for suggestions on where to further check what feeds into Q15. Many thanks!
    Tom

Doest the lamp light when you ground the tab on Q15? If not, the problem lies back towards the lamp.
If it does, the Q15, or U2 are faulty.

I grounded Q15 off of one of the ground test loops on the board with no success. This is stumping me.....

So, you are getting continuity if you check from the HSTD lamp back to pin 23 on J2 of the LDB? You reflowed solder on that header? Clean out the sockets? I sometimes use a test socket and while in lamp test mode, touch the 2 leads to the leads of the socket having issues to see if it is a socket issue. Just a few other things off the top of my head. Try a different LDB to rule that out?

Many thanks for the input! Turned out to be the pin connector #23. I misdiagnosed it previously as I was getting continuity from the back of the connector to the socket, but when I went to remove it and check it again, it came out in 2 pieces. All is well now!
