Can you explain better what the "1" on your meter looked like, what setting you had it on, and where the leads were touching? Or maybe take a picture of it? What do you mean by TP5 showing both AC and DC?

If you can locate the E1 and E2 points on your rectifier board, measuring AC across them should tell you how much voltage is going into the transformer (should be 120VAC). Similarly doing E3+4, E5+6, etc should show you what AC voltages the transformer is outputting. Those AC voltages go through the rectifiers, which in turn output the DC that'spresent at the test points.

It sounds like your rectifier board is definitely messed up. It might be best to just replace it
