We had a power outage, with a probable voltage spike. Machine will not power up since then. GI works, but nothing else.

I'm trying to learn here, so I went to Pinwiki.com and made a donation. I don't see much info that would step me through diagnosing a low-level power problem.

I noticed on the Solenoid Driver/Voltage Regulator board (Rottendog) that LED2 was lit, but LED1 was dark. This seemed to indicate no low voltage. Hitting the test points on the board I get: TP1= 195VDC, TP2=1.4VDC and TP3=.4VDC. We are looking for 180, 5 and 12V. Not good. Probably not fuses, but I checked continuity on all of them. All fuse holders seem solid, and I pushed on fuses, and pulled on wires down below.

Speaking of down below, looking at the Rectifier Board, TP1=.5VDC, TP2=1 on my meter (what the heck does that mean???), TP3=6.8VDC, TP4=6.4VAC and TP5=42.2VDC and 193.4VAC. TP4 is the only one that is close. TP5 showing DC and AC points to filtering not working. How do I interpret "1" on my meter? the rest are low.

http://techniek.flipperwinkel.nl/ballyss/rep/index1.htm#ps is very helpful. It tells me that power comes from the line and switch, and goes to the rectifier board. My tests show that the board is not giving out good power. How do I test back, and tell if there is good power going in to the rectifier board? Where do the transformers come in?

Regarding the "1" - that is an overflow, higher than the 200V setting on my meter. I didn't think to try 600V, now TP2 reads 240VDC, so that is now a good reading.

E1 to E2 shows as 116VDC. E3 to E4 shows 49.5VAC, E5 to E6.... I can't find E6. E7 to E8 shows 6.6VAC, E9 to E10 show 7.7VAC.

When I measure TP5 with the meter reading 200VDC it gives a reading. When with the meter on 200VAC it also gives a reading.
