    Can I use a AS-2518-50 sound board in place of the AS-2518-32? U3 is the same on both boards.

    Yes, so long as the sound board has the E729-18 PROM at U3 and jumpers are installed at the "B" and "D" locations.

    I have a bad -32 board and I have a spare -50 board. My -50 board did not work either unfortunately. I now have a working -32 board for reference that I will use to troubleshoot.
