Quoted from Meegis:

Only ever seen skill roll out on the floor.
Hoping the other two are out this year. Would love to play em.

They will be.

Looks like an added switch to trigger an alarm if the cashbox is lifted up.

Quoted from Trizel:

Whats the rule with these transformers. Mine is looking rough.
1. If it works leave it alone?
2. Try to replace it? Limit chance of failure and fire?[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

If the game is properly fused, no need to replace it.

I believe there is/was one of those at JoDeans Restaurant in Yankton, South Dakota. I haven't been there in 4 or 5 years now.

Maybe Tom Brokaw played it in his younger days.....

Quoted from CyberNinja24:

I just called there and they said they’ve never had anything like that.
Are you 100% sure they had a lite a diamond there?

I recall a Bally Spinner and a Bally Skill Roll there. I remember that the Skill Roll had a different bottom half of the playfield. Maybe it was not "Lite a Diamond", Were there other variants? I would go to JoDeans for lunch once or twice a year as I would travel to Yankton for business.

The restaurant is very casual with a decent lunch buffet. They have some antique cars and buggies on display inside as it is a large building. There were some older video games and redemption machines along with some old EM amusement games and kiddie rides.

I inquired about buying the Spinner as I really wanted one. The cashier said none of the stuff is for sale. At any price. This was probably fifteen years ago. I continued going there until I retired from my job a few years ago, but I never bothered looking for the machines again since I was shut out before. The Skill Roll and Spinner were crammed in with several other machines off to the side and were not plugged in.

I used to eat at a Ponderosa or Bonanza right down the road with customers as they liked the Ponderosa/Bonanza. Then one time they said it now sucks (Imagine that) so they suggested JoDeans and We went there ever since.
